Chiang Mai Hotel

Intend to spend a few days in Chiang Mai in January. Does anyone know of a reasonable  hotel around 2,000 baht per night that accepts Credit Cards? :)

;D ;D  you mite try the (www.imperialmaeping.com)  it at about 2000 baht real nice hotel up scale a bit. not sure of how good breakfast  is.  they do have better cable tv if you want english channels. or you mite try (www.pronpinghotelchiangmia.com) they have good rooms starting at 1000 baht and up. nice pool and out back parking lot is food courts and night bizzare. good breakfast  and laundry  service.  only draw back if you plan to watch tv i found no english channels last time .  that was september hope this helps. los 5 days 8)

I stayed a week at the Lotus Hotel Pang Suan Kaew in November. It's a large hotel right next to an enormous shopping centre about 10 minutes from the centre.

I booked online via http://www.thailand-hotel.net

They also have the Imperial Mae Ping, but this was not available for my dates.

The rate was 1050 Baht a night including breakfast for a Deluxe Room with a great mountain view (Doi Suthep Wing).

This was about a 50 percent discount against booking directly with the hotel.

I was a bit worried about paying up front via secure online server, but had links to my printable Hotel Voucher as soon as the booking was confirmed, along with a printable Credit Card receipt.

I booked hotels in Bangkok and CM with this company, and when I turned up at the hotels everything went as smooth as Thai silk !

I have been back home now for 3 weeks and nothing untoward has appeared on my MasterCard bill.
