Bang Saray Beach - a great place for a day of eating and relaxing

Recommended Posts

About 17km south of Pattaya is a great place to eat and enjoy a day at the beach. It's called Bang Saray Beach.

There are no wandering vendors, no jet skis, plenty of parking, nice table setups, great seafood cooked to order, natural palm tree shade rather than umbrellas.

It's just a wonderfully relaxing and enjoyable place to have a good meal with friends at a reasonable cost.

This post has pictures taken over several visits there this year. Some visits there were very few people at the beach, and some are quite crowded, but always a good time.

The linked map shows the area where the public beach is located...

The bill today was 2100 baht for 9 people. We did bring 2kg of shrimp and crab cooked at home though.

The 5000+ bill was a real splurge, but yes, it's not cheap like your food carts.

I told you what we brought from home. Everything else was prepared at the beach.

More importantly and keeping this in context, I'd like to know more about the cool refreshing drink surrounded by the cool refreshing boobs in the red top. :bhappy

Ditto.... both looked dangerous (the refreshing drink and the refreshing boobs). Looks like a "day-off" destination for August MM - thanks for the post.

The cool refreshing drink was Leo in an ice bucket for concealment...drinking was definitely kept out of sight yesterday.

The other was Mrs. MM. :P
