KJ, found out Thursday's are not a weekend. Last June when I booked my trip for November the a/f was $50.00 less on a Thursday vs. a Friday.

 

That's cool, I return on a Thursday and it would of been higher.  Normally I leave on a Monday and retun on a Thursday, which is why I never pay the higher prices like $957, which isn't too bad considering they include the Las Vegas to LAX flight and my next two trips I'll be able to fly Evergreen Deluxe on both long haul flights.

Under the government regulations ( at least here in the UK) airlines are only allowed to quote their published fare. You will always find the same flight heavily discounted  by travel agents. I always fly Lon/Bk with EVA business Class and as an example the published fare for Lon/BK departing on 22nd December is £4300 and the fare from the travel agents is around £2000. I have always found that if you speak to EVA on the phone they always suggest you try to obtain the flight via a travel agent first.

 

This practise of quoting 'published fares' is incumbent of all airline flights originating in the UK.

Anybody know what the cabin seating plans for Evergreen Delux on the 747 trans-Pacific routes are?

 

In particluar, are they truly wide (2-3-2?) and what seats if any have extra legroom?

BTW, the EVA web site now seams to quoting a 2 tier price structure, with E-Delux tickects (SFO-BKK-SFO) priced both at $875US and $2069US (similar for LA-BKK-LA) and no obvious difference in tickets  ???

That what it is. But I always try to get rows 20 thru 22 as it is ony 2-2 (due the the narrowing of the plane). There is a lot of aisle room, enough to get up and do some stretching execises during the flight.

Just booked $800US LAX-BKK-LAX E-Delux. for end of April. ;D ;D

 

Now, if I can just handle the next 55 days of waiting . :'(

Turns out June is EVA's "high season." That's why I saw airfares @ $1300-$2069 in EV-Deluxe. Rescheduled my vacation foir May and paid the weekend rate of $846.00 + tax.
