My favorite deal was last year on Cathay Pacific. $178 round trip ;D It was the best deal i ever had for a round trip ticket to Thailand from LAX. BigDUSA can vouch for that too. ;D

One negative on this promotion is that you don't earn any AA miles.

Sure enough, I misread the NY trip. $699 is much better from back east than $799!

Deals, deals,deals, I called British Airways and they told me that if I wanted to crawl into the wheel well of a 777, that they would give me a great rate from O'Hare to LHR. But at 37,000 feet it is -70F and you can't breath either.  I'll have to sleep on their offer.  James

I got those prices at around the end of april. it was During the SARS scare so basiclly it was all luck. ;D
