I am flying from BKK on Janurary 11 so I will have the 10,000 miles to qualify. I was planning a trip in April but if I move it up 2 weeks I can get 60,000 bonus miles! That is a free trip! Not counting the actual miles and the bonus for elite status on United. Total is a little over 100,000 miles = a free business class ticket!

I have read about this on a forum claaed "Flyer Talk"

"I just talked with an MP Supervisor who confirmed that:

1. The 10,000 qualifying miles can be in any booking class.

2. As soon as you fly 10,000 miles the bonus starts kicking in on all future flights. So if you flew 10,000 miles by January 2, all the rest of your January flights would count.

3. Triple miles, means that the trip will earn 3 times your actual flight miles, plus whatever other bonus to which you are entitled. Therefore, a 1,000 trip for a 1k would earn 4,000 miles.

Of course, MP interpretations have been know to be revised, but this is what they are saying today.  "

(MP= Milage Plus)

I hope that my V class ticket will qualify, Time will tell I guess.

If not don't tell my boss, He is letting me go 2 weeks early to take advantage of this fine offer!

If you are calling from the land of the free and the home of the brave dial

1-800-356-8900

to find out what class you're flying in.

If you are NOT in class W,S,T then dial

1-800-447-6772

I wanted the 5000 miles so I punched in code 798 so presumably I'll be recieving 5000 bonus miles.
