I have tried to search for the Swiss Gritting hotel website but it looks like it has vanished. Is the new name iCheck inn Sukhumvit 19?

Anyone stayed there since the name change? Is it still the same room setup and friendly staff?

All I know is that I once tried to make a reservation at the Swill Grottino and they didn't even respond to my email. It did have good reviews, though, from what I recall.

I have stayed there numerous times and always got a response when I emailed or used the web reservation system. That was several years ago. Now it seems the hotel is seperate from the restaurant and I can not find a working contact

Was an up and coming place a decade or more ago but I've heard precious little in near a decade and with the plethora of mid range modern hotels available in Bangkok these days, I doubt it has any USP anymore.

This was my favorite place in BBK.... I check inn looks like the same place.... At least the rooms are the same as the past. I have not been mongering in Bangkok for years.

I liked the fact that they had a separate entrance with your own key card. No ID checks. I seem to be one of the few guys that hate ID checks.

I stopped by in January it is the Check Inn. The Swiss guys sold it, the restaurant is closed. I asked if the bakery was still on the second floor and it is.
