Out and about in October - street scenes and construction

Hi

Been a while but I found my flash drive from our trip in October. I went walkabout one day just to capture some of the ongoing construction around town, also a few vacant areas which have yet to be filled by yet another hotel or condo.

 

Just down from the old Welkom Inn, these bars atill manage to survive

 

 

Site of the old Welkom Inn or Belgian Embassy as it was known, now completely levelled. Demolition started in May and can be seen in my old report.

 

 

Contruction going on opposite where the Welkom Inn was. bloody massive .

And still these buildings remain "unclaimed" and the same since I was there 6 months ago, and in fact in the last few years on Soi 1

I had that feeling you get when you search for ages through flash dives and cards etc for pics which you're sure you took but can't find, then a few months later they turn up on the one that's been sat in the pocket of my backpack right down next to the seam!.

I know the feeling too.

 

I have photos that i took off Pattaya when i got back from Vietnam in October, but for love nor money, i just cant find them!!
