Looks like the Harbour Shopping Mall on Pattaya Klang has finally opened.

Tried to get in there this afternoon (Saturday) but gave up after taking 20-minutes just to circumvent around the place and that was on motorbike.

Take your car and the first port of call will be the toilets.

The entrance and exit road is not wide enough to get bikes and cars together as the inside lane is full of parked up motorbikes.

The exit comes out back on Klang into the waiting traffic trying to get in. WTF.

Absolute chaos, attendant trying to stop the flow on Klang to let cars out.

Eventually crossed waste land at the rear and came out at the side of Foodland...just as bad.

Maybe I will have a look sometime during the week.

Hi. Here is what I posted today on another forum:

"

I visited Harbor today morning. Many shops not yet ready. Even some of accesses to Harbor are closed! Not finished. The car park on many floors seems to be a nice nightmare to come, and for motorbikes you currently have to park in a field next to the building; better to not go there after raining!

There are countless of food places on the 3 or 4 first floors: all kinds of food, Thai; Japanese, Korean, Russian, American... Girls and Thai will like that place ;)

The IT part is on 2 uppers stairs and is still very quiet. Barely half of shops are open. The big IT Thai brands that are in Tukcom South Road are there too: IT City (small), JIB, Banana IT,... A few promotions 1 to 4 April in some places for the opening.

Many small shops for mobile phones but nothing like Tukcom as I feared.

I didn't check the "play area" mainly at top floor. It was very quiet when I walk there. Unsure on what is ready and open? Also the central public area is rather large, but the building is not that large, so most shops are not very deep and I am unsure how some attractions can keep is such narrow places?

Always seemed a dubious place for yet another mall,

Traffic currently reduced due to the tunnel construction. If they are trying to reproduce the mayhem around the Pattaya Tai Tuk-Com which already keeps me away what a strange idea. I hear this Mall is aimed at kids, including an ice-rink.

There is a Harbor Mall in Laem Chabang which is much easier for me to get to.

Hopefully there will be some improvement in parking and vehicular access. At the moment I can see it stopping what is already slow Klang traffic, in both directions.
