Oman Air ex Manchester

Recommended Posts

Oman Air have announced from April 2017 they will start flights to Bangkok via Muscat.

B787 or A330 aircraft.

Great info, a friend recently used them from London and said all was OK.

(Other than an awkward Bangkok departure time of 09.30)

More choice, more competition, better prices?

I doubt the arrival of Oman air will do anything for the prices.

Good news, I have heard nothing but glowing reports about them wrt their premium classes. As for prices; a new route generally attracts a low price for a while to get the route up and running--- The Middle Eastern competition would likely try to match it. Singapore Air definitely won't !

If you are flying via the Middle east I would wholeheartedly recommend Oman Air,in my humble opinion miles ahead of Emirates (in J class)

No 'Manchester' comes up yet on their booking engine. I believe it will start April 2017.
