LHR-BKK+14 NIGHTS=£493

Recommended Posts

I have been to Pattaya 4 times in the last seven years as a single guy but realised that my glory days were over having met a wonderful woman to whom I'm now engaged and the memories of this City were beginning to fade.

In the English media last Sunday, Bridge The World offered a great package including  return flights from LHR to BKK deoarting 31/5, returning 15/6, 14 nights accomodation in The Regent in Cha-Am and private car transfers inclusive of all taxes for £493.

Here was my chance to shower the lady in luxury and get back to my favourite part of the world. Besides I would be saving a few BF's too!.

Next question is does anyone know very much about Cha-Am/Hua Hin. Is there a hydrofoil service linking Cha-Am with Pattaya and if so what is the cost? [smiley=love.gif] [smiley=love.gif] [smiley=love.gif]

Hi

Re trip to Regent hotel. This place is good hotel on the beach BUT it is miles from Hua Hin  need a taxi there and back  about 400 bahts.

Few bars in Hui Inn, good seafood, good market at night.

To my knowledge there is no way to go to Pattaya without hiring yrself a speedboat, and some cost I might add.

OK if u want a quiet time with g/f.

Patttaya is a different world to Cha Am and Hui Hin, but there again I'm an old gimmer  He He

I agree it's a different scene altogether but the beach bars (literally on the beach and no girls) are good for a drink and crack till the early hours with other holidaymakers. It is very popular with scandinavians especially Finns. Walk north from the Regent past the Beach Garden Hotel to the Family Shop Bar good food here and a good crack. Cha Am at weekends is like Jomtien on steroids lots of Thais from Bangkok and a good disco and karaoke scene, if you can cope with the din you should have a good time. I like it for a relaxing time.

On these special offer package trips from the UK it says based on two sharing, any idea how much the price goes up for just single?

Stevo, Thanks for that, £8 it's not too bad, I just wondered if the tour company pays the hotel for a single if you then get stung by the hotel for a joiner fee when you go back at night with a TG!
