looking for a condo to rent for a year

I was wondering if any of the board members have a condo to rent for a year staring January I 2018? I'm looking for a furnished condo with a full kitchen, washer machine, one bedroom (preferably separate), pool for 10,000 or less! I'm willing to consider all areas of Pattaya or Jomtien. Thanks.

I think you need to rethink your budget. At 10k per month you are mainly going to find studios most of which will be either small or old and the chances of getting a washing machine and a western kitchen are even lower. I think Centre condo on Pattaya Tai might have some of the cheapest 1 beds but they were nearer 15k when I was looking a few years ago. Nevertheless you might get lucky.

I may be looking soon, not only in the Pattaya area, but in in Bangkok or maybe Phuket. From what I've seen online, prices seem to be all over the place. Apparently, there are thousands of empty condos in the Pattaya area. One would think that some of the people owning condos would rather let them out than have them sit empty, so maybe it's possible to find something for under 10,000 baht.

 

Bargirls seem to know where all the reasonably priced places are. Maybe invest in a few drinks and ask a few if they know of anyplace.

If you do Facebook, there's a group called pattaya condos for sale and rent...or something like that. When I was looking last month there were loads available.

 

However, beware...just because an agent advertises a condo doesn't mean that that condo is available for viewing or renting, as they will have to check that it is still available with the owner...it may have been rented by another agent!

 

If you don't mind jomtien I seem to recall seeing various advertised that way for 10k or less, but whether they have a full kitchen or washing machine or not is debatable.
