High Speed Net cafes in Pattaya?

Here's another one of those trivial questions only a newbie can do so well. LOL

 

And since I have yet to set foot in Pattaya I suppose it's up to me...so here goes....

 

I'm pretty unimpressed by the internet infrastructure in BKK and am wondering if Pattaya is any different. There's a few websites I'd like to surf with a high-speed net connection while there.

 

So, are there any/some/or none high-speed net cafes in Pattaya? And if so where might they be found please?

 Hey Lost, there is a 128 isdn in the Big C shopping center in North Pattaya on 2nd Rd called the Fantasea cafe, there is another in the Royal Garden shopping mall on Beach Rd in Central Pattaya on the 2nd floor called the Explorer cafe and another one i think on South Pattaya Rd but i do not recall the name. I am sure there are more but this is a start. Cheers, B-Man!

Try Beach Road just after Soi 11 (I think) and there is one that's fast. It's 2 baht a minute but ask for a membership where you can pre-pay for 300 minutes and it's much cheaper.  I was there in Janaury and it's got air con and the lines are FAST.

A mixture of the fastest (128/256k) and the cheapest(1 baht per min) is on 2nd Road. Turn left out of the South Pattaya Road and it's the second internet cafe on the right, around 100 metres away from the corner.

If that is the one very close to East Coast Real Estate office then it is indeed excellent, I used it myself last year and was very impressed with the service an dhte price.

I don't think it is the same one, this one is before you reach Soi 3 Pattayaland, though is on the other side of the road.

No the one I used was up nearer to Soi 12 or 13 on the opposite side to RG centre.

If staying in Jomtien there is a good one next door to the KR bar just before the Police Box turn at the start of Jomtien Beach Road.

Like valentino stated, I've seen many of the (128/256K) around Pattaya for 1 baht a min and some that are 30 baht an hour after 11 PM.

There are to Explorer Internet Cafes - one on Beach Road near Soi 11 (that one is open 24 hours) and one in the Royal Garden Plaza on 1st floor - last shop on the left on the Beachroad side - they are quite fast and offer good service - the one in Royal has some excellent coffee too
