Yeah, don't ever use Saudia Airlines!

Horrible experience from start to finish.

1st leg was full of pilgrims to Jeddah who spent the whole flight moving around, getting changed, shouting at each other, crowding the toilets so we never got a moments peace.

Food was barely edible consisting of eggs and vegetables or a pizza roll.

Service was as though we were to be tolerated.

Seats had good space but were uncomfortable. Entertainment system was ok but sound quality was terrible. 

Delays and queue jumpers put me in a bad mood anyway.

And to top it all, they lost a suitcase in Jeddah on the way back. About 20 others didn't get their bags either. And their reporting system is crap so there's no update. I called their office to try to find out more and they just fobbed me off to the airport as it's not their responsibility. 

We saved about £1000 on this flight compared to direct flights. Next time I will spend the extra money!

Rant over and I will post elsewhere how great the rest of our holiday was.

I was looking for flights Amsterdam return Bangkok.Saudi air had ridiculously low fares,then I read the reviews.Whoo! Pretty much like yours, avoid at all cost.Air India the same.Do basic research and you would not have used them.Booked with Etihad instead.

My lad went to Dubai via Riyadh last year......on outbound sector bag didnt come onto acrousel at Dubai....his story was the same multiple bags hadnt been loaded. They did get it back about 5 hours later fortunately. Apart from that though he thought Saudi were good
