Windows XP & New Board

Not a problem I hope :-/, but a benefit!

When logging in via bookmark in Windows XP, I am land in the middle of the members section with a ' Hello Steptoe ", no guest screen, no login, but  straight into the action.

When TRYING to log-in via Windows ME, well 'nuff said >, basically I can't!

 

Wondered if anyone else uses XP & if they get same result

I use XP as well.

 

The board places a cookie on your computer that remembers your log in id.  It does time out after 90 minutes by default, or whatever you set when you login.  While the cookie is active you can come and go without logging in.  Once it expires you have to log in again.

 

This worls for all OSs, not just XP.

 

BTW, XP rules ;D, ME sucks.

I'm using Windows XP as well and have had no problems accessing the new board though I have still to exceed the 90 minute time limit.

 

I do, however, delete cookies from time to time as they clog up my pc with unwanted information on where I've been surfing though the FLB Bar one is easily identifiable and be left in place.

Changed to WINXP Pro 2 weeks ago, and wow what a difference!  ;D But I must add I had no problems logging in with ME at all!
