Stupid Question

Of all the times I have left Pattaya for the airport, it has always been on a Sunday. This time it is going to be on a Tuesday morning. I have previously allowed 2 hours. Should I allow more time because it is a work day? My flight leaves at 12:30.

2 days until the adventure begins. Any one up for a beer or 2, I usually hang out at the Joy Beer bar on soi 8 in the afternoon and start out at FLB at around 7:30 PM. First beer on me. I will be wearing a purple baseball cap with an "M" on it.

I left Pattaya at 3pm Thursday. The trip went well untill Bangkok. Traffic jams even on the freeways made it a 3 hour trip.

 

My advice would be to leave a little earlier to be safe.

Not a stupid question. I can't tell about about Pattaya to the airport on a weekday, but going from the airport to Pattaya did take a little more time than on a weekend. I also know going from my hotel in Pattaya to the hotel in Bangkok on a weekday take about 30 minutes longer than the weekend, so I would alow a little extra time to get to the airport

On the weekdays, I always try and allow 3 hours to get to the airport. Seems like there is always something! I don't think I have made it in less than about 2h45m whenever I have gone. For a 12:30 flight, I have them pick me up at 7:00.
