Can anyone tell me if the kasikorn Bank in the Big C as a printing machine to update my Bank book,or do I have to use the main office down past Naklua.

Don't know the answer to ypour question but there is another Kasikorn Bank on Pattaya Central between Second and Third roads. ( Closer to Second on the right hand side as you head away from the beach.)

Theres a branch on Pattaya south road as well on the right if you were heading away from beach road towards sukhumvit............it has a machine in to update your book if you dont want to wait in a queue.

How safe are the banks in LOS? If i want to have an accout at one, how do i know when I wake up tomorrow, the $ didn't just walk away, so to say.

after getting rid of the "black sheeps in banking and finance" in 1997 and 1998, I would consider Thai Banks save. Never heard of anyone loosing money with one of the current Banks (different story with the long gone Bangkok Bank of Commerce - a good deal of money was lost in 1996 and nobody of the responsible managers was ever brought to trial for it).
