  1. I have to add that I have removed Noscript. And that in itself was a bit of an effort. I am just not technically competent enough to deal with this feature and it blocks too many necessary things. Particularly when relating to booking engines.
  2. Paint Your Wagon.

  4. Diane Lane
  5. You are quite right...... When I bought a few cases of beer yesterday and was fishing around for a 5 baht coin to go with the 3x1000 baht notes and a hundred for the 3105 bill, she said 'Mai pen rai'.....
  6. Apology accepted.....
  7. In the news recently with health concerns.... Intolerable Cruelty.

  9. We have a Mum Aroy on 3rd Rd near Nova Park area and another behind Banglamung Police Station, edge of Naklua. That place is always busy. I went to a good place recently in the Naklua/ Wong Amat area, called 'Shell Tankay'.... It was on Soi 12, behind Zign hotel I think it was, on the water. Awkward to get to.
  10. And you booked it?
  11. I was in Bangkok with a friend and the couple of girls we were with suggested a trip to Pattaya. The lure of the beaches was too much....
  12. The food is mediocre and service lacking.Super ambience and interesting place to look around. A little out of the way for lunch.
  13. How about when you phony up a post plagiarising another's work and put your name on that?
  14. Yes do that. I often purchase on arrival at Bangkok, usually because I have been horrified by prices in Manchester, then found out that they are more in Doha, then obliged to buy in Bangkok. Can't even get the rolling baccy in Bangkok for the other way now, and all the ciggies are covered in vile pictures. A resource comparing duty free prices would be useful....
  15. The Talented Mr Ripley
  16. I checked, all flights out of Heathrow are non-stop to one place or another. Mid-flight stops have been abolished to reduce fuel wastage.
  17. Restaurant......? We are looking for good places to have lunch, not the place that does the most business.
  18. I didn't find Doha to be too strict on things like that, but the comment regarding prices does apply, it is quite expensive. Plenty of non stop flights from LHR to BKK, so hardly impossible, not even close to almost.
  19. Try again later it tells me.....

  21. Well trains hardly ever develop much speed in LOS do they? It was fairly open and there were not the really close slums one finds adjacent to the lines in the Big Mango. Some were attributed to people falling asleep on the lines.... and most certainly the results were yuck.... many years back some unpleasant details were broadcast.
  22. Woody Allen
  23. Casino Royale.
  24. Around the World in 80 Days.
