I recently got 2 credit cards with Bangkok Bank. I also got them listed on my Interent Banking. I had to put a chunk more than the credit limit into a 15 month fixed term deposit. I quickly tried them out at Carrefour and Homeworks, pretty straightforward, and no apparent charges involved. It gets paid off completely from my savings account the next month. Then I got a nice surprise as a computer back-pack was delivered to my home. A free gift from BB. But for the real reason I got them, which was to pay for an Airfare when booking a flight on-line, well that didn't work and it just seemed to hang at the security question stage (paying in Thai baht to a foreign airline). Had to use a UK card and accept the currency exchange hit.

As I posted once I have had some money removed from my box behind reception. I didn't lose the whole lot, but some TCs were taken. At this point I don't see any reason to doubt the OP, I would appreciate some more details on how he interacted with the BIB. Generally deposit boxes are under security cameras.

Well good luck with that but you are dealing with ex-Building Societies. More geared up to domestic stuff. My pal recently had problems with domestic transfers using Halifax due to limits. I know HSBC work OK... although they double whammied me on a transfeer charge. Have heard negative feedback on Barclays too. I have a Standard Chartered Acct offshore and it is easy. SCB and HSBC was all done via internet.

Many airlines these days only offer their best deals on their own web sites. I couldn't beat the Qatar quote at any agents in LOS, so as Joe says, search search search. Then if you find a deal at a consolidater, try the airline direct. Mostly they charge a lot more, but now and again they guarantee best price.

And one being offered very cheap and quick sale......... might not be kosher

Well I am happy for you, but I have TOT out here in the sticks of Nong Khet Yai, and they are really terrible. Reliability poor. Customer service could make me go postal! I am a bit puzzled regarding the running 1,2 or 3 computers? Do 3BB limit the number of IP addresses the modem can issue? A router normally has 3 or 4 Ethernet sockets at the back which each will support a computer, or wireless networks can support multiple computers. Beyond that it is just sharing the speed (or as it is erroneously called, bandwidth) I thought 3BB was previously called Maxnet and a TT&T product.

Sounds like ADSL. Perhaps guys working on the lines, do you have problems only between 8am and 6pm? Another possibility is line quality, check in the modem/router for signal to noise levels. Is the phone working OK?

This would work for me, just bought a Biz Class via Qatar and when I saw the price figured that would be the last one. Have to change someplace and at the moment KL sounds better than LHR (haven't been to KL yet... ). Extra stop in ME though!
