Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you aren't suffering the post Pattaya blues too much.I will be on Qatar soon and able to report back in a few weeks on both legs, it has been a year since my last flight with them. I nearly booked Emirates just for the A380 experience, but the prices were somewhat higher in Biz Class, and as I am the type who stays in my seat apart from a few toilet visits the size of the aircraft should not be an issue. I suffered Dubai under construction some years back and decided I wouldn't be back for a while, I felt I had walked a good portion of the trip. I wonder what will go wrong when I land at Manchester tomorrow, last time someone was ill on the plane and we had to park away from the gates for an ambulance to arrive, and wait ages for busses to be crammed into like matches in a box! Then dumped infront of double doors, one of which was locked shut and we were bottle-necked in. I was looking behind me to see if they were using border collies!

It may to you, and I accept that they are known entities, but as far as I know none of them are female nor have young children at home. They are also pretty fond of the nightlife here. Would you recommend the Glitterman? As Joek is harping on in another thread, we are all just posters in an anonymous whore-monger's forum. If someone were to ask me where they might obtain a babysitter I would likely point them towards a neighbour's maid, or suggest a question at one of the Expats Clubs, not go see the guy who owns the bar complete with prostitutes in town.

Well my tongue was in the cheek but I would not go as far as to say rhetorical. It is just a strange approach to ask barowners and confessed mongers advice regarding babysitters. Does your 29 year old require babysitters? Glad that you are suitable to work with kids, and can give good advice as to what to look for, but you were not included in the 'rhetoric'.

Where I am, I have TOT and the service centre office is located in Laem Chabang. I would not recommend them. I heard on the radio that Pattaya will soon have the fastest internet in Thailand when TOT lay their fibre-optic cables. Trouble is they have decided to await the completion of Thrappaya and Jomtiem 2nd rd before they dig them up.
