Good one...... they got passion, but are just crap! Make sure you pay for that pork pie before leaving the counter!

I could sometimes get away with just a backpack when travelling these days, as I have a 'place' at both ends. I just always seem to be bringing back crap from the UK, which I cannot find in LOS, or is rather more expensive here. I am with you, I get a taxi, or book one of the Mr Ts!

Phuket?

Over the pond again.... Billie Whitelaw

Just found that the flight I booked a month or so ago can now be had for 5000 baht less with Ethiad...

The Last Time I saw Paris......

I think discussing the meat is off topic somewhat. Is the sport cruel or not? Do you condone deliberate cruelty to animals purely to entertain humans? It would be killed anyway for Big Macs is hardly the point. Should we entertain ourselves like the Romans did then too, with gladiators and feeding Christians to lions. How about public executions? Perhaps boxing/ cage fighting is just this too. Surely it is personal. If the cruelty outweighs the entertainment (and possibly bloodlust and sadism), don't support the events. I have never been content since them damned bleeding hearts stopped me charging all over the countryside in pursuit of the inedible shouting toodle-pip and hurrah.

What is ST?

Well as 24 hours had passed since my Heaven Can Wait was posted I wasn't sure whether you had researched it........But if you didn't ATTABOY... it was a dead end for me! For Winchester 73... James Stewart.

Every supermarket has them... BigC, Carrefour, Tesco. They are rechargeable. However tempting it might seem, do not put your tongue on the wires....

Just because there is now a train available?Taxis didn't take too long before. As to the last sentence......yes, good one! When do they plan to extend it all the way to Pattaya? Then it can join the wonderful monorail planned for here.

Good vacation schedule you have, I had 3/year but fewer total days (55+local holidays). The End-of-service payment is of course standard under Saudi labour law, and my departure from the Kingdom gave me a big cheque. My last posting was Riyadh, I hated the place!

Ten years left of it......

Like in Catelonia....

I did KSA for a good while. all over the Kingdom.I hope the money is good! I always travelled back to HQ in Dammam prior to R&R, the office kept our passports when in the kingdom.

I think your question has been left unanswered so I will give it a go (since I am a mossie neurotic.. ) A zapper is a plug-in violet lamp inside a grid of metal rods with a high voltage across them. The little devil is attracted to the light, and causes a short between the rods and is killed. The one I have doesn't give off an electric spark so doesn't disturb you in the night, but I also have some tennis bat like devices which use a much higher voltage and you sweep around and get a very satisfying zap when you hit one. Great fun!

That seems harsh....Run a good place, have plenty of pretty girls and reputation will build.

It would seem fair that 24 hours from the OP would be ok? I can't think of anybody else who was in it.....

Yes £100 was my first though but then I considered smaller places. My commiserations on the location.....Tabuk?

I did say the original, can't some guys read? Heaven Can Wait 1943

Going back a long long time, the original.... Heaven Can Wait

Not much chance of that.....LOL.By that time I had grown weary and couldn't face pushing my way through the crowds. I was left with the handbag and my back against a coconut tree sucking on a can of Leo. I could see fine from there, fortunately being 6 inches taller than most of the crowd.
