there used to be a shop in the bottom level of big c that specialises in cases etc with big padded sections....sort of bomb proof bags etc. It looks like a army/navy type store.......they might have exactly what your looking for.

Just a quick note on NLD1....what exactly was renovated....all i seemed to see last night was some tatty alluminum panels tacked on the inside of the dance area. Apart from that, it looked exactly the same?????????????? That aside.....it did sport some really,really,really good looking dancers....which sort of fucks up my negative point above!!!!!!!!

It seemed all the standard rooms were full and only 1 bed apartment was shown to me! 2. IT IS A GAY AREA 3. The bloke (which wasnt security) was gay. (even my tg commented on this) 4. The room is pretty basic. white bland walls(albeit a few nice artworks on walls) minimal furniture (oh and since we are nit picking ....the bed was made up but the white bedding looked tatty and well used)...on a

kebab stand???? or how about A chocolate fountain (like the ones at uk weddings) embroidery shop/t-shirt printing (only a few in pattaya) Pastry shop (like one in poppy bar) Oxygen bar (all the rage in uk now) or my favourite.....blue-screen photography shop

quick question adam: without going into too much detail, would you say you have made a good enough profit over the 2 years to justify the time and effort of owning the bar, or have you broke even but still enjoyed the experience????

The cheapest way to send large items is by cargo container. Ask at any pattaya office and they will give you the details.

Its good to hear that you want some input to the bar....listen to what people want etc but (and no offence given whatsoever)...what will set this bar apart from the rest of the thousands struggling to stay afloat. Playing some cd,s just wont cut it in low season. (i assume hence the reason for a revamp). I believe you truly want to please the people so lets hear some good,bad and downright strange ideas that may be integrated to the bar! I'll certainly put my thinking cap on!

I have stayed there many times and it is basic. There are different prices for the rooms depending on what floor they are on (carpet or no carpet). Pros are , they are in a good location for the baht bus route and handy for soi diana bars/kiss food etc. And cheap!!!! Negatives are....shabby rooms, BIG noisy air con units that CLICK on and off every minute or so. (no thermostat so no control). Better you go round the corner to Bay breeze in soi honey inn

these answers do my box in "Get a condo for 10000 baht and it works out 2000 a day." duh... even i can see that it works out at roughly 300baht a day and not 2000bht. On a budget of 68,000baht a month (1000 uk pounds) you can spend 2200baht a day (minus 300 for room equals 1900 per day) TRUST ME this is ample and you CAN live like a king on this. I posted a budget making post before and it runs into nowhere near 1900baht a day. yeah the weekend warriors can spend a fortune in a few hours but just being sensible and all your dreams can come true.

They have changed their policy AND room pricing structure. I stayed there many times albeit a while ago and the rooms were reasonably priced and no guests fee (was booked online at res24.com ) ...since then the prices have sky-rocketed in my opinion and no longer constitute value for money.

Hi i stayed there 2 years ago and it was a nice experience overall. It has good location just off soi buakaw and has free internet laptops to use downstairs. The pool is small but has a little seat/jacuzzi section at the end. (the edges are sharp so watch out for cuts). Sometimes it is difficult to get a sunbed and some people just leave their (free towel) on the bed and go. This adds to the lack of sunbeds. They also let outsiders use their pool and this leads to many kids at the weekends! The hotel is built in a square design with all the rooms built around the pool , however only

I use a volvo limo service and it,s 800baht regardless if its pattaya to airport OR BKK to pattaya!!!!!!!!!!! Note: not including tolls (but these are a lot less than the old airport) If anyone wants the number PM me

Embroidery into t-shirts can be got at soi lek hotel and corner of second rd. Printing onto t-shirts can be got at the mall at big c (south pattaya rd) Sewn on badges etc can be got at soi 14 (almost at pattaya south lights/2nd rd)

Nick the pizza does deliveries in about 10mins! Its a VERY thin/crispy type if you like that style. Fatboyfat above is spot on with his soi yamoto "baht bus" pizza. Sit at wonderful beer bar and chill with a heineken and the boy will bring it to the bar....excellent. Personally i think pizza company at royal garden is excellent value and good selection.

The glasgow departure always has empty seats and since they allow online seat booking 24hrs before departure, it is possible to bag yourself 3 empty seats (with a little luck on your side). The bkk leg is always full to bursting and sometimes they have the old tv system which is not "on demand". On the plus side, once your a silver card member then you can check-in through the business desk (and use the dubai lounge)

I pay 5bht a unit but for some reason (probably air conditioning unit) this months bill was huge. Providing you can go easy on the air-con then you should be only be around 3000bht per month@ 5bht a unit. Of course if you can life without the air-con then i reckon you could be as low as 700bht

NOTE: the blind massage joint off the naklua road has since re-located to the bottom of 3rd Road (just passed tony,s fitness , on the left hand side before you go over the flyover to bali-hai pier). It is an experience to go in though....they do put the thai pole dancers to shame with their dancing and gymnastic moves!!! Is it worth the beer price....mmm......maybe just for a one-off. Watch out though as they are merciless when trying to cohort a tip out of you.
