A great entertaining night!!!!! 1 point to the organisers: A better idea when reading out the prize-winners would be to line the girls up against the back wall and walk to the front to collect the prize. The system you used on the night was to put the finalists to the front and the winners walked to the back. the result was NOONE could see who won what! Just a point to make the next one PERFECT!!!!

I have heard of a few of these scams around the 2nd road area. My tip is to use the interior ATM,s especially around well guarded areas like big C or royal garden. Avoid the street machines all together.

You will get a better wifi signal if you buy a usb wifi dongle. Use this regardless whether you have an in-built one. Some web sites give instructions for a signal booster if you make a homemade satelite type dish made of a wok with a hole in the middle of it for the dongle (via a usb extension cable). At the end of soi 6 on beach rd is an eating place. You should get tom yum goong there. The beer is also quite reasonably priced too ( i think blue ice was coming in at 35baht a bottle). Failing that i think the sportsman on soi 6 has some thai food on its menu. if you arrive too late , you may find that the first joint is closed!!

hi Maybe its my problem for not actually asking for 1. I always bring the girlfriend anyway and she never touches draft so im never out looking for a free lunch (or a 2nd voucher). It just seems that if your on your way into the bar anyway they dont give you a voucher. It just looks like they are trying to drum up extra business from people that are walking past the bar and not those already committed to entering. take a sneaky look for yourself alan. Maybe another thread would be to discuss CC's. Are they a breed unto themselves with obvious traits, or can all of us be a CC from time to time depending on how much we spent on other pleasures??
