Anyone stayed at this place recently? the last minute deals they have going at the moment look very attractive and the studios don't look half bad either.any input appreciated.

Try Dr Belum she is has a surgery behind the tourist police station on 2nd road, her english is excellent and she studied medicine in Australia i believe.

The block facing the road are the best 5th and 6th floor for a decent view, the suites around the back pool are not as nice and are smaller plus you get the divers training in the pool at ungodly hours.

Try the residence garden they have 2 bedroom suites and in my opinion the best in Pattaya. Go to the hotels section above.

Arriving on BA10 at 21:30 already organised a limo anyone wanting a lift is welcome it's a lonely 2hrs on my own.

Has anyone stayed in the suites at the Flipper Lodge? if so what are they like? TIA

A word of warning about the internet joint next door they tried to rip me off big time when i printed some doc's, 10 pages and somehow i was presented with 30 pages and charged 400 baht "you click 3 times you pay" well you can imagine my response, something along the lines of fuck off plenty more internet cafes.

I used them on 2 occasions going to Pattaya and back to the airport no problems at all, good drivers and nice comfortable cars, a confirming email seems to be the go with this company.

Hi all,just got back from 13 nights at the RG and have nothing but praise for the place 10 out of 10 for everything, and as for being too far off the beaten track never had a problem going to or getting home even with a wobberly left boot.

I must have had your room mate as i had a tv in the boom room as well as the lunge room.But no fruit a couple of fruit cake tg's though ::)

G'day mate There is no immediate amenities ie money changers, beer bars etc but believe me i walked to south pattaya in approx 10-15 mins and i was just strolling so it's definately not in the boonies,internet shop is next door, laundry is across the road and the bar at the RG is great with very pretty waitressess everywhere just to get the juices up and that will take your mind off the 10min walk or 5 min bus trip to sth pattaya. There is a supermarket halfway to sth pattaya for your supplies ie milk,coffee, bread etc because don't forget the RG rooms have their own cooking facilities and to me thats a bonus. mick

Got to agree with you mate, would have to be the best hotel i've stayed at in Pattaya,service is second to none,a nice fuzzy feeling and the tg's love it.
