Cherry does have Kobe on menu ...very nice fillet type cut, whether its the real deal I know not The little steak house on Pattaya Nua (50meters north of Fairtex) has an extensive menu of all the different grades of Kobe, as stated not cheap, but Id suggest commencing your search there. .

From a size 18 down to a 14 would be a start! . -
Yep Brings to mind those words of sage advise in all things: " If its cheap, its cheap for a reason " .

A house in your name...never going to happen A house in a company name..technically illegal - though like many things in Thailand, this doesnt matter....until they decide it does A condo in your name...most certainly (the piranhas will queue up to sell you one) just remember the Falang percentage basically pays for all the build So pretty negative yes (oh and a few mill THB isnt the stuff of dreams to me) .

In Flight Entertainment on Thai Airways Flight
Regyai replied to Kleyshay's topic in Airline Discussion
TG917 & TG910 are the night flights & almost always 747s except a few months back when due to low numbers (I think) an Airbus was used 747s have no seat back screens in economy. Done the trip 60+ times now and now I never use any inflight systems... board, eat, sleep, wake, eat, disembark Simples! . -

Ground transportation options - BKK / Pattaya
Regyai replied to FarSider's topic in Transport in Thailand
No reason why not (especially with the poor numbers passing thru swampy), & if you miss it youve still got all the usual options. I use them whenever possible, price is great (but not my primary concern), time to Patts usually quicker than the damned taxis anyway . Coupled with no detours for PeePee / LPG whatever, no bleating for tolls/parking fees/tips, and Bell can actually transport a bit of luggage with ease. . -
They're not supposed to protect you from injury, they're to protect you from policemen

I still chuckle at an experience from some years back (another safety insight) Driving up the old (pre swampy enhanced) motorway to BKK when traffic started to tail back The ubiquitous accident was this time an overturned petrol tanker in the central divide. Much of it's contents were spilt into the recess of the area surrounding it. Another tanker had since been positioned adjacent to it on the opposite side of the motorway and many Thais were feverishly handballing the remaining petrol in buckets etc to the waiting tanker !!! As I wondered to myself how many counties the UK polic -

Got an infection...caught it on a plane?....prove it until you can, airlines will do nothing - no culpability. Incidentally there is a lot of the 'tail wagging the dog' with the aviation industry, take for example that under international air law a person may smoke on board an aircraft at the disgression of the captain, yet no person can be allowed on board an aircraft under the influence of alcohol. But the airlines ban smoking and serve everyone booze ! .

I arrived on the 20th (as the last of the water splashings dissapeared down the drains ) with similar timings. Brisk walk to immigration (virtually empty) bags umoungst the last ones to hit the carousel - strange how the ones with 'priority' tags allways are! 5 mins interlude with XRay monkey at customs and downstairs still with a 15/20min wait for the 4 oclock Bell bus .
-
So rather than a 200baht pain free door to door you hard bargained the hotel down to just the same price you can get any taxi from the public stand at Suvarnabhumi & I'll give you odds that now youve dipped the asking the two legged roach that they send for you will have his grubby hand out under your nose at both toll plazas and the car park before you set off .
-
Cant beat it 200THB (a joke) No cuddling your luggage as the damned taxi has no trunk space Big reclining seat Toilet if you want it & you can have a chuckle every time it overtakes a taximeter squeezing the last few klometers out of 50 satangs worth of LPG .
-
TG917 invariably gets in earlier than scheduled Liesurely saunter thru immigration (no queues as few peeps arriving) wait for luggage & downstairs for the 4pm Bell Bus no worries .
