  2. Our best squad in years, we are coming off the best summer beating everyone, winning the World 20 -20 (load of shit but it was nice to beat the Aussies in the final) and we just sent home Pakistan (cheating corrupt) without winning a trophy. Swann is the best spinner in the world....yes England at last have a spinner (thank god Warne has retired) and we have some decent fast bowlers. I really cant wait. Which was will it go....... England Ashes Test squad: Andrew Strauss (captain, Middlesex), Alastair Cook (vice-captain, Essex), James Anderson (Lancashire), Ia

  5. For once England go in to the Ashes with the best chance in years and years. Bob Willis thinks Ricky Ponting could not Captain a rowing boat I'm still amazed you did not play a spinner at the Oval at the last test, he should of gone then. As a batsman I love watching Ponting he really is world class as a Captain no thanks. The mind games have started early this year with Ponting claiming 5-0 to Asutralia, it will be much closer than that. Right through our order we can bat, bowling our attack is the best it's been for years and in Graham Swann we have one of the worlds best spi
  6. Classic News of the World sting but it looks like they have been exposed. It's a real shame as it was not a bad series England's fightback from Trott and Broad in the fourth test was superb but I've also enjoyed watching the 18 year old Asif for Pakistan for a young lad he really bowled well and would of had a great future in the game. Sadly now he could well face a life ban, and the cricket public have been robbed of watching one of the stars of the future. That sad Pakistan may well be banned by the ICC at the moment this matter is in the hand of Scotland Yard. Full Story f
  7. The same guy that has bank rolled your biggest spending spree for years? The same guy that watched Martin O'Neil field a weakend team in the UEFA Cup, only to watch you fuck up the following PL game? The same guy that has had to listen to most of your squad players sit bemused as they don't get a first team chance. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11661_6304547,00.html You should be glad you have a good Chairman who has bankrolled the club...O'Neil threw his dolly out of the pram when he was told that he would not be getting his hands on the full transfer kitty, Learn

  12. Good to see Ashes preparation is going well. http://www.guardian.co.uk/sport/2010/jul/2...-mohammad-aamer Pakistan's Mohammad Aamer celebrates after dismissing Australia's Mitchell Johnson. Photograph: Philip Brown/Reuters Australia were bowled out for their second lowest total against Pakistan on the opening day of the second Test at Headingley. Pakistan's seamers revelled in the overcast conditions after Ricky Ponting won the toss and chose to bat, dismissing Australia for 88 shortly after lunch. The teenage left-armer Mohammad Aamer was the pick of the bowle
