All our girls (there will be several very cute ones there tonight) have several aiming marks of the round and elongated variety as well. Very sorry you're not in town right now Bobby - we'll raise a few to your good health.
-
Don't know which one you mean, all our girls have moles on their faces - it's a condition of employment Flip-flops probably, but just in case bring your own stilettos (handbag optional).

Chanpen is holding a party with free in-house food and live western/Thai music from 8 pm on Thursday 10th - all are very welcome, several new girls started work with us this week too. www.chanpen-pattaya.com for directions.

Good on yer Mick, look forward to seeing you both in July.

Very interesting and salutory video. Both Muay Thai and TKD are sports, and therefore have rules (unlike the street), but Muay Thai has not degenerated into a sport and is more focused on real combat. The MT man held back whenever his opponent hit the floor for any reason, clearly obeying the rules for that match, but that would not apply for real - game over for sure. Also note how much the TKD man hops about - wasting precious energy - while the MT man is calm and focused. The clip also illustrates the uselessness of long-range kicks against an alert opponent - sheer nonsense in a real environment but of course showy in the dojo or ring - if they work. Had to laugh out loud at the attempted reverse spinning kicks, which failed every time because the range was closed by the MT man. No wonder seasoned street-fighters have almost zero respect for the 'martial sports' - what they do only works in competitions with set rules, and TKD is a prime offender in this respect.

Glitterman Speaks About Part 1. The Original idea
Bushcraft replied to glitterman's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Good luck to you mate, you've found something that you really enjoy and you're doing nobody any harm. May your pedals continue to turn. May you never be saddled with debt. May your cross-bar always be rigid. May you never tyre .. though you may be flagging. Bushcraft hath spoke. -
Cummon guys, whats on at your place
Bushcraft replied to teelack's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Chanpen is open for food and drinks from 11.00 am, but will close at 9.00 pm or so while the curfew lasts. Enquiries have been made about how rigidly this will be enforced today and tomorrow, and the answer (can't tell you the source, but I think reliable) was: please close on time tonight, don't take the piss, and if things are quiet tonight a more lenient view might be taken for the remainder of the curfew period. I guess that would only apply to a small restaurant/bar like ours though, no idea how an agogo will be treated. No doubt influence is being exerted where possible. -
Sorry about that mate, Sunday is Fah's morning off and the girls who should have opened up at 10 am overslept (duh!). Rocket duly administered.

United Airlines and Continental Airlines to merge
Bushcraft replied to MM's topic in Airline Discussion
There are bound to be more and more mergers as national and other airlines feel a cold wind blowing around their ankles. Let's see if two turkeys can make an eagle. -
This has been an open secret for quite a while, as Bob has been reluctant to advertise the business for sale until now. It's a great location and somebody could do well there, I hope somebody bites soon so that Bob can attend to his family obligations with one less worry on his mind.

Glad you consider it as important as I do, and you're most welcome when you're next in town. I think many bars make the mistake of thinking that loud, thumping music attracts customers, and they often compete by turning up the volume. In my case - and I think this applies to many older blokes - the opposite is true. I wouldn't have minded when I was a young blade, but now, with my hearing impaired anyway through firing off too many guns, I visit bars to have meaningful conversation with a backdrop of music I like, or to chat to girls who are worth chatting to with or without barfining as a motive. We also have a bunch of giggly, fun-loving girls at the bar, and that pleasure would be lost if their banter could not be heard over loud bar music.

Blowed if I know, for reasons of self-preservation and good sense I don't sample the girls, but mates have described at least two of them as 'a bloody good f**k'. We have a rather nice rest-room for in-house diners, so suck it and see perhaps ..

She's nice alright, she's Fah. Here's the website: www.chanpen-pattaya.com

I'm Fah's partner in this bar and restaurant, which is doing ok but is by nature a quieter kind of place to relax in prior to/after doing nearby WS or the Soi Buakhouw area. We've had to revise our barfine/ladydrink policy to the conventional model though, as we found we can't rely on the ladies living upstairs coming down to entertain guests, and are now employing BGs. We serve good food - especially a full English breakfast with prime back bacon and Cumberland sausage - play music that people seem to like and never allow the volume to conflict with easy conversation. We also have Nintendo Wii for bowling/tennis/golf fans, and plenty of space to play. The ST room is fairly busy, clean and sports large mirrors. More and more Farang have discovered us and cum regularly. Plug over.

Chanpen bar opening Sunday 28th Feb.
Bushcraft replied to Bushcraft's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Yes, you're right, and I've only just found this out myself - duh! It appears that bars will not be allowed to do their stuff on the 28th. So we're having the opening party on Saturday 27th, no problem for us and we hope many will attend. Ripe1: Chanpen (= full moon) is Fah's proper first name. Some of the girls are 2 or 3 to a room, some prefer to live alone as they have a farang boyfriend etc. etc. I would think most are quite willing to be enticed into the ST room though. -
Fah, the popular former entertainment manager of 3Som bar and guesthouse in Soi LK Metro, is opening a new bar and guesthouse named Chanpen in the market square, Soi Buakouw, this Sunday, 28th February. There will be an opening party with food and live music on Sunday evening, and it would be great to have a good attendance. There will be plenty of girls too, as the 11 rooms on the premises are currently let to 22 freelancers who will use the bar and the accompanying, very attractive short-term encounter room as a base for their .. er .. activities. No barfines are payable in Chanpen bar, and there is no price premium for lady-drinks - you pay the same reasonable price. Chanpen is located next-door to Sanya Apartments on the market square, near the Pattaya Tai end of Buakaow. Coming towards Pattaya Tai on Buakaow, turn left onto the square when you reach the first market stalls on the left, at the Family Mart. The bar is 100 yds down on the left. Sorry, no pics yet, as we are still busy doing the place up for opening night.

Only too happy to oblige. Went to Cafe Uno for the first time with my Thai girlfriend and her adult daughter last Sunday. They had never had a proper English lunch before, and were sceptical until the meals arrived. Ended up with 3 clean plates, they loved it and so did I - top marks. Good food, well prepared and plenty of it at a decent price. I've previously had the occasional Sunday roast at the Queen Vic - no complaints there either - but Cafe Uno is well worth the trip out to the Darkside. Needless to say I had to pass on a visit to Dao Bar afterwards .. And Craig's a good bloke, looks after his guests.
