Last Saturday I was in Oxford Street shopping so I went and had a look at the property near there in Brook Street where he used to live back in the sixties.

No deal Brexit and flights in and out of UK
Siam Sam replied to Rawhide2's topic in Airline Discussion
Good post and you kind of took the words right out of my mouth. I really can't be bothered to argue with the remainers these days so rarely bother. Let's just see what happens and see how arrogant and dramatic they are about things after we leave. We've survived worse than this as a nation. The way that the EU is reacting to our decision to leave is proof we are better off without these people and Brussels has had it all their own way for too long. They'll do their best to make it is as awkward as possible for us to leave and ensure the worst financial repercussions but that is all they can do which is clutching at straws. Ultimately the corporations hold all the power and will always do as they wish whether we're in the EU or not. A few years from now we'll look back on this and wonder what all the fuss was about at the time and realise how poisonous the media really can be. Oh yeah someone at work has just booked flights to Spain over Easter next year. Wow this ban on flights within Europe post Brexit is a real nuisance. -

I asked you to direct me to the sites that will tell us all what is going to happen in the event of both Brexit scenarios and you come back with this. Are you going to substantiate anything you have to say with any evidence or fact on this matter or are you just going to carry on as you are? Yes. I've just booked with KLM for a long weekend in Amsterdam at the end of March. -
Day time beer bars similar to nana soi4
Siam Sam replied to accyboy's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
There's nothing like people watching on Soi Nana. The bars that I enjoy people watching from in Pattaya are: Nooky Bar - Drinking Street Ruby Club - Soi 6 Eagle Bar - Soi 7 Poker Bar - Corner of Soi 8 and Beach Road Mirror Bar - Beach Road near Soi 8 Little Suzie's Bar and Luck Bar - Soi Diana Smile Bar - Second Road near Soi Diamond Wonderful Bar - Second Road English Rose Bar - Second Road Dokkai Bar - Second Road Easy R Con Bar - Soi Bhukhao Plus any bar that has a view of Hellfire Junction on Soi Bhukhao. There's one on Soi Kinyow too that I can't remember the name of which is pretty good. It's the one that is the cheapest which always has the dregs of Pattaya drinking in there which is always a joy to observe. -

The best was when I managed to blag business class on a Qatar Airways flight to Bangkok. As for the worst, take your pick of these: I had a two day alcohol and yabah bender in Bangkok with a regular bar girl of mine from Pattaya. This culminated in drinking a bottle of whisky with her brother law in the street only hours before I was due to fly home. I've never felt so rough on a plane. Booming headache, sweating and nauseous for the whole 12 hours home. It was horrendous. I was flying to Glasgow to work once and the place encountered the worst turbulence I've ever experienced. The plane very suddenly dropped several hundred feet and if I hadn't have had my seat belt on I think my head would have hit the ceiling. Overhead lockers came open and stuff fell out, people started screaming. It was pretty terrifying. I flew with China East Airlines once to save a bit of money as it had a connecting flight in Shanghai which was delayed. I sat in Shanghai airport for about 9 hours before we flew to London. Shanghai is further east than Bangkok so you end up going back on yourself a little to get home. The total duration of the journey from door to door was 32 hours. I never thought I'd have the misfortune to beat that time and I promised myself I would never fly indirect again until....... When I was living in Pattaya I had to fly back to England for ten days so I flew with Emirates to keep the cost down. The connecting flight was from Dubai. They're a pretty good airline but unfortunately for me somebody was taken ill during the flight and the pilot made the decision to land in Cyprus so he could have urgent medical attention. We sat on the runway for several hours before we were given clearance to take off. Total journey time from door to door was 36 hours which beat the previous record. I will definitely NEVER fly indirect again.

Wow. You've "seen stuff" that'll happen in the event of both Brexit scenarios without that even happening yet? This is impressive stuff. Please tell us all which of these sites that successfully predict the future that you're using because I'm most intrigued. -

No deal Brexit and flights in and out of UK
Siam Sam replied to Rawhide2's topic in Airline Discussion
You're probably right considering I'm still waiting for the explanation from our resident economic expert to substantiate the rather hilarious claim that UK house prices will drop 35% should there be a "no deal" Brexit. This should be good. -

So exactly how would a no deal Brexit mean a 35% reduction in UK house prices? Please enlighten us. -

As with all multimedia organisations they have their own agenda and broadcast total propaganda which they use to brainwash those vacuous and gullible enough to believe it. -
What a massive disappointment "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin was. An uninteresting, stale plot and such convoluted sentence structure meant it wasn't enjoyable to read at all. However, as a big fan of George Orwell you could really appreciate how this book influenced 1984 and where many of his ideas came from. I'm reading "A Wild Sheep Chase" by Haruki Murakami, a very popular and talented Japanese author whose work I have been meaning to sample for a few years. So far it's good.
