I usually stay at the Chiang Mai Orchid which is around 1500 baht per night depending on the time of year. Hotel is pretty good but expensive beer and food, not that I eat or drink there as its right next to a shopping mall about 3 times the size of Mikes in Pattaya. About 10- 15 mins tuk tuk to the beer bars which are near the Night Bazaar and Loikroa Rd

Khao Kheow, and the Natural Park Courses are all in a similar area, once your out of Pattaya its about 30-35 mins. The Natural Courses have been taken over and were closed a month or so ago but expect them to be reopening soon.

NATURAL PARK HILLS I ve played all the course mentioned and although Laem Chebang is without doubt the most beautifully manicured and a great golf course, I think Natural Park Hills is a better test of golf, the coconut tree lined fairways make it that bit more difficult. So for that matter is Khao Kheow, and the finishing nine shown above is fantastic. But hey, its a bit like the girls I'm splitting hairs here over which is a 9 and which is a 10 they are all better that what I can afford to play on at home. If any one goes to Chiang Mai you must play Royal Chiang Mai at 600 baht is the best value for money ANYWHERE and Lamphun - now there is a test of golf.

I have recently been to both Pattaya and Jomtiem. Pattaya - on 3rd rd easy to get to reasonable set up. Went with 4 girls who ate and drank for about 3 hrs whilst I was there. My fishing rod was the only one left and the reel was next to useless. I caught 2 small red fish (about 1 kilo) which one of the girls took home to eat. There were catfish being caught but not loads. Total cost approx 1100 baht ,rod, bait, food for 4, beer coke etc and fish- great place to relax and keep the girls happy only missing a tv. Jomtiem - soi 14, so a long way down the beach. Soi 14 was being resurfaced so had to go down the next road and take a turning down there - no signs so it looks like the middle of nowhere to start but it is there. You get someone to stay with you here and don't need to do anything other than reel the fish in. The fish are catfish of some description range from 4-15 kilos. I landed 5 to about 8 kilo and they fight hard, i lost another 5 or 6 due to broken hooks/ snapped line. there were loads being caught. More fish here than pattaya, food and beer available total cost was about 700 baht plus tip for helper but i went on my own. I flew China Air premium economy at Xmas. the flight and the food was really good, I was really looked after, well worth the extra money. The plane was a 747 400?? the biggest going, very nice. Just a little confused because at that time they did not fly from the UK. I had to go to Amsterdam. Are you aware of that Moby or have things changed.

Just following your opinions on Electric Blue which definately seems ok. One bar upstairs topless and one downstairs usual go go type but with Chang at 35baht a bottle all night not expensive. Also Polo is definately worth a visit as someone is trying something different than the chrome poles routine. The dancers have different routines with between one and 8 of them on stage at anytime. There is audience participation and seeing a farang coming of the stage with a huge stalk on under his y fronts after being used/abused in the oily massage routine was worth the drinks price alone Get there before 10 and the drinks are 60 baht instead of the usual 120 I have been there twice and was never hasseled for Ladydrinks, raffle tickets or anything else., It appears the girls sit on the left side of the club and you go and hassel them if you want
