  1. my apologies if this is the wrong section to post this unfortunately my little 1998 Nissan NV pick up now has a blown head gasket, possibly caused by not being started for over 2 years due to Covid19 travel restrictions & humidity corrosion etc. It still has registration until October this year. a local Pattaya mechanic wants over B35k to repair it, I doubt my car is even worth that much! I'm open to all suggestions what to do with it ?!? are there any car wreckers in or near Pattaya? or anywhere to get engine exchange? appreciate all suggestions

  4. there are other ways to get from Pattaya to Utapao airport without paying expensive taxi or via the AirAsia minibus, those other ways is what's been running for many many years that the locals use to get there, l did it & it cost only 100baht & took an hour, but l only had carry on luggage so if u have lots of luggage u should probably get a taxi or the AirAsia minibus. forever & a day has always been running very frequent minibuses running along Sukhumvit rd going to Rayong, from where they start l have no idea, maybe from Bangkok or maybe from ChonBuri, anyhow along the route

  6. wasn't sure what forum to post this, l have a small economical 2 seater Nissan NV pick-up, l'm looking to drive to ChiangMai leaving Pattaya any day before 27Aug, l invite anyone who would like to come along & share fuel costs, l can take up to 4 passengers in rear tray & 1 in front passenger seat. I can provide a cusion for those sitting in rear tray, trip will take about 10 hours including food/toilet stops, I can pick up anywhere in Pattaya & drop off anywhere in CM or on the way to CM. l will be driving back from CM to Pattaya within a day or 2 of arriving CM, &a
