Amary airport is a good option. It is directly connected to the airport via their second floor. Two and a half minutes walk from the terminal. Very nice hotel. Not luxury rooms but more than adequate. Don't know the price though as I used it for a short time only. SF dude

Hi; I used Dtac and was happy with it. There is a Dtac store on the second floor at big C. It does have the ability of incoming and outgoing international calls. (as well as voicemail). Sorry, I don't remember the price. Cheers SF dude

Hi; I agree. It really is important. I wanted to be in RG on my last trip, but initially they did not have availability. I was on a waiting list and only few days before the date I got a message that a room became available. So BigDusa, it might have been you. 8) We are getting great service at the RG, they deserve at least that email. SF dude

Oh yes, it is a blast. No, I don't read the chronicle. Afraid I am not intelligent enough. This deal I posted is just something I stumbled upon. I use the evergreen deluxe on EVA air. Might be a bit more than the prices you mentioned but worth it. Better than economy, not too long connection time at Taipei, and mid day arrival. Oh, as much as I hate that flight, how I wish to make it again. SF dude
