Just read this thread with great interest as PBR is on the top of my list in terms of accomodation. I am a newbie & am planning a 10 day visit. I will be there in low season so the price for the deluxe room while high by Pattaya standards, suits my budget. The accomodation standard looks good, so I don't mind paying a little more for a nice room. PBR seems convenient enough to the action, but far enough away to be able to sleep, after a hard day & nights mongering activities! Great to see lots of experienced mongers giving the thumbs up to this time of year. I am going to be in Pattaya around June/July as well and was concerned about weather. I will be looking to play golf, so a shyte load of rain wouldn't be good. As I understand it, it rains for a hour or so some days then that's about it. Question - being tropical does it rain afternoons generally at this time?

From what I have been able to work out the golf courses are generally 30 mins from Pattaya. I am looking for a driving range that can be reached easily by baht bus, or taxi, or even on foot. Maybe no such thing?!

Can anyone tell me if there are any driving ranges in the Patts area? Would like to bang a few golf balls, as well as bang a few bar girls while I am there. Cheers
