I've been watching fares since August ( I had origanilly planned on going in January) and the prices haven't come down any. Fares from Chicago Asiana - August 1,115 Today 1,117 United - August 1,370 Today 1,375 Korean - August 1,459 Today 1,459 I pretty much stuck to these three as options because everything else was around 2,000 BA did come down from 2,000 to about 1,500 but with long layovers in London. I'm still waiting but if I don't see them move by this week I'm pulling the trigger. I'd sure hate to see something happen with fuel prices and have fares shoot up on me.

I have e-mail to here and to the address from their website. They are not the only place I have not been able to get a response from.... Every place I have tried to contact would be considered to be more of an up-scale establishment. I guess they are not hurting for business after all.

So what are the approximate low season rates for VT6? By the way nice website!!

Agoda rate doesn't include tax. Was that a standard or a studio room for the 1625?

I read your post from Nov. and thought you were trying to get rates for LKRenaissance but the rates you posted were for Metro. Anyway what e-mail did you use to finally get a response. You said you e-mailed Tony.???

I thought I finally settled on a room at this place and wanted to reserve a room this week but all of my e-mails go unanswered. I have contacted them through their website 2 times and from here once and still no response. If they didn't have such favorable reviews I would have already scratched them. I did get rates on Agoda but wanted to try and go directly through the hotel. So does anybody know how to get them to respond to an e-mail? Anybody at the hotel I can send an e-mail directly to? Or should I just say F__K em and find some place else (i'm leaning toward this)

United flys that leg. I thought about booking one for a layover on the way to BKK. Get a room at the airport hotel in Incheon and shake off some of the jet lag so I could hit Pattaya running.

Since I've had to scrub my January trip, I have plenty of time to check prices for May. Maybe I'll find a deal after the 1st of the year. I'm not sure I want to fly on Asiana because there is always a long layover on the cheap flights (either coming or going) I'll probably fly Korean Air since I can get my Onepass miles with them and only one short connection in Incheon.

I have been checking prices for a couple of months now and Asiana always comes back as the best deal (the next closest is United @$300 more) The taxes seem abnormally low. Anybody flown them know if they hit you with some unexpected taxes or fees when you check in???
