  1. I always liked the old Misty's. The new one is definitely a more modern updated version I guess you could say, but what else would you expect with a WS location. There were always some good lookers when I went in there, although its been a little bit. I know Misty's is very well capable of running a fantastic lezzie show, as I recall a past party of mine there thanks to Psp. I wish Paul and the crew there the best of luck.
  2. Also think it depends on what your looking to park. If its just a motorbike or motorcycle, then your options are going to be a lot larger. If its a car persay, then something like The LK Metropole, or Areca Lodge, along those lines. Many of the larger hotels have underground parking garages, along with 24hr. security and cameras. As Cpw said, what area do you want to be in, and what price range?
  3. Thats one of the reasons I like hearing back from customers, for quality control. I stand by the prices I offer, and if a driver even mistakenly overcharges an already quoted rate, which happened to be the case on this one, then I will make it right. I think too many businesses just let stuff like this slide and say som nom na. I prefer to be able to ensure that every customer gets exactly what they are paying for, and exactly what they are told. Needless to say, matey's friends pickup has already been discounted to cover the overcharge by the driver. I don't believe in the bait and switc
  4. Should've been 1100Baht, have to talk to the driver on that one. I know he knows the prices, but might have gotten confused as that was our old rate. We are still only 5 days in to the lower rates. If he did charge the 1200Baht though, then thats 100Baht off your friends pickup for sure. This was the Chevrolet Zafira minivan Cheshire. Its a 2004, but still as good as new. The aircon works great, as it went out almost a month back, and had to have the compressor replaced.
  5. Those are the 3 I have to agree with you on. Even though I'm from the states, I have a very special place in my heart, and my stomach for HP sauce. I discovered it when I first moved over here, and never go anywhere without it lol. As for cheeses, cold cuts they have, but have no selection of cheese other then the 1 or 2 brands that they sell. Same can be said for cheese bricks, not a very large selection here at all to top crackers with. Two more to add to that list, Louisiana or Crystal Hot Sauce. Have yet to see these anywhere in Thailand Spray Deodorant/Anti-perspirant
  6. Yeah, no need for anything additional, such as signal boosters or anything like that. Just make sure to ask if the hotel has strong, fast, and reliable internet. I don't really know of any hotels that are going to BS you about something like that.
  7. Word of advice though. If you have 60 days on your visa, then go down and extend it on day 59. Also make sure that there are no Thai holidays coming up, or that your 59th or 60th day, doesn't fall on a weekend. It will be 1,900Baht for your 30 day extension, after which time, you will have to do a Cambo visa run, which would be the quickest and cheapest to do, then use your next entry. If you use up your 2nd 30 day extension, but want to stay in LOS, no problems. Just go to do a Laos visa run, where they will re-issue the multiple entry visas. 9kbaht is about average for that service and v
  8. Anything you can come up with is pretty much fair play. We offer Sak Yant tattoo tours out at Wat Bang Phra, day trips and half-day trips to the Sri Racha Tiger Zoo, the Million Years Stone Park & Crocodile Farm; (the drivers are allowed free entry into these places, and will accompany you throughout the park, great for taking pictures). We also hire our drivers out on a daily basis, allowing you to plan a trip to the village with the tilak, or just for sightseeing. We are also working on an Issan Tour, in which all of your lodging, food, and transportation will be included. Sort of li
  9. Another advantage of having the IDP's as well, in most cases where the police will tell you they are going to hold your bike until your ticket is payed, they will actually just take your IDP and tell you that it can be returned at the police station upon paying the ticket, allowing you to drive on your way. While I am sure this is not always the case, in my experiences, having the IDP is worth the money. Also, another trick that they will often use, and do not do this to avoid the hassle. If you are riding and have your helmet on, and your lady does not have hers, and you get pulled over
  10. Correct, the yellow tags that you see on the meter taxis, differ from those of a non-metered taxi (transport car). The same yellow tags are also on the motorbike taxis throughout Bangkok. Although often times, you will see many of the motorbike taxis running with white tags, as well as many of the transport drivers at the airport.
  11. None of our vehicles have LPG tanks, they are all either diesel or gas operated vehicles. So you would have the full trunk space on them all. I personally don't even feel that comfortable driving in a vehicle that has the natural gas tanks in them, as if you ever got into an accident, the odds of it being fatal, are substantially higher then with a normal gas driven vehicle. I value my safety, my drivers safety, and my customers too much to take that chance. So everyone understands the difference that Tom pointed out between the green and white tags, I will explain it a little bit. White
  12. We have 2 SUV's, a minivan, as well as 4 late model sedans. As for the green transport tags, all of my sedans have them now, and I have to wait for the green tags on my remaining vehicles. Especially since the SUV's are newly pucrchased, it will take a short time to get the green tags.
  13. We here at Mr.Dream Transport & Adventure Travel, are happy to not only announce the addition of 2 SUV's to our current line-up of transport vehicles, but we are also happy to announce that we will be lowering our prices to help everyone ease into summer!!! Our standard pickup rates will now be as follows. Airport/BKK to Pattaya - 1,100 Baht Pattaya to BKK airport - 900 Baht We will also be offering a 500Baht discount on all of our tours, including our Sak Yant Tattoo Tours, VIP pickups, and multiple day tour packages. All pickups are guaranteed on time, or your trip
  14. I think every hotel in Patts and BKK alike have something different to offer everyone. Some might be higher end, so you get top class service and a top quality room. Some guesthouses give you the chance to see the restaurants and bars below operate on a daily basis. Some are better suited for mongering, via Walking Street area or Soi6. Others make you feel like your at home with a private bungalow or small house. Its totally up to you my friend. I know my first few trips over here, I stayed at different hotels each time. It felt like the hotels I was staying at each time were serving the
  15. I can actually help you out with that. PM on its way.
  16. I was aiming at a bit of comic relief.
  17. Are we supposed to count each time we've done committed one of these offenses, or just once for each offense subject? Because I would be over the 10,000 mark by the time I was 13 with the masturbating if its the first scenario. If its the 2nd scenario, well then 910.10
  18. Easy one there. Golden Villa Apartments. Its right on the main stretch of road, halfway in between Jomtien, and Pattaya. They have a pool, blackout curtains, all newly furnished rooms. They were renting for 10k baht a month last I had heard. I know they also own another piece of property across the street, slightly larger and newer rooms with internet, although I am unsure of the price on those.
  19. Contact the airline directly. They will give you their number for the office in the airport, then those people will give you the number for the lost baggage. Your odds of getting your bag back with everything intact, are fairly high though. A worse case situation, would be if you had gotten your bag back, and the scavengers sorted through your belongings, taking anything of value and name brand clothing. Thats a 2-3 month process before you get reimbursed lol.
  20. Last I heard, after 90 days, you can get your residence certificate. After you get the cert., you are also able to get your Thai drivers license, as well as registering vehicles to your name directly. But as you said, the rules are ever-changing here.
  21. I agree about Orbitz normally being a pretty great alternative to booking with airlines directly. I know I've had good experiences with them, almost always the shortest flight times I could find for the money. I think that they delay buying the tickets from the airlines until they are able to get the best rates, even after your purchase is made. Thats a bit scary to me, especially if your on a tight schedule, as they will often email you back that your return flights have been changed. I would hope that it was unintentional from Orbitz, and just some sort of communication glitch with
  22. We have a mini-van and 4 door late model sedans, so the luggage wouldn't be an issue. Sorry for the late reply Kolobos, had some other business to take care of in BKK today. All the cars have more then enough trunk space for a decent number of large pieces of luggage.
  23. Our rates for our airport pickups are 1200Baht to Pattaya, and the return trip would be 1000Baht. All tolls, and one stop are included, so there are no extra or hidden fees. As for the VIP ladies, I think this suits the people more that are coming in on extremely early or late flights when there isn't much to do around town, as well as those who are making their first trips, wanting to be a little more discreet until they reach their comfort zone. I will admit though, its always nice having a beautiful lady waiting for you at the airport.
  24. We are in line with any other transport company in either BKK or Pattaya. For your 3 day trip, there are a lot of blanks to fill in, how far are you driving, do you want the driver to be with you 24hrs. a day or just on call and close to you? Feel free to give me an email with the specifics so I can work some numbers up for you. As for our VIP pickups, we will have several beautiful ladies for you to choose from, to accompany you during your ride from the airport to your hotel. Our VIP tours on the other hand, are an all-inclusive package based on a per day scale, including all transportat
  25. Sounds like a solid deal. Look at it this way, it seems a good value for the money, so its worth a try in my book. Worst case scenario, if its not what you were hoping for, have a backup in place in case you have to change hotels. I think many people pass up on some diamonds in the rough out of fear of just not having many reviews online. If we all did that, we would never find any new places that none of us have tried before. Just my opinion though.
