strange, I have just booked with West East Travel for flight with Thai on 8th March - 27th March. It cost me £488 incl. tax. That was the cheapest fare I found for this period anywhere. Ric

Not found any deals on Thai's website. I always use companies on the net and usually get a good deal. It is worthwhile though joining Royal Orchid Club if you are flying Thai. As your miles mount up you get benefits. I already get extra baggage allowance and priority baggage handling. Ric

I bank with First Direct and would say that on average it is 2 days after the withdrawal that it appears on statement some times a little lon ger. Has never appeared on same day. Ric

It hits hard when you know that you were in that beach just 5 weeks ago. Everything along that seafront must be gone by now. My heart goes out to all those affected by this disaster not only in Thailand but Indonesia,India and Sri Lanka. Our prayers are with them all. Ric

I took 2 girls back when I was there last November with no problem. However I went round the back and not through reception. No mention made of extra charge. I agree rooms are smaller than some but quite big eneough for what you need. After all its the bed that is important Ric

Have flown Eva twice now from LHR. 1st time in economy, food was ok and seats comfortable. Flight was full but apart from queue for check in no problems.In November I tried out Eva Evergreen Deluxe. Thought it well worth the extra £150. Seperate check in both ways,leg room best ever experienced and food was good too. Being first off aircraft also a bonus. Will travel Evergreen again on my next trip end of May. Ric

I stayed at Dynasty in November and was pleased with the hotel. The construction next door did not disturb me at all. As to having 2 girls I was not charged any extra. The transfer from BKK as stated is free but to go other way charge is 350baht. Still good value in comfortable minibus. Departs Pattaya about 3pm. I would not hesitate to stay there again. Ric

I am booked with Ebookers. Only problem I have experienced has been when ytrying to change my return flight. Person I was dealing with by email (could never contact her by phone) told me flights were full. Eva said thay had availability. When I spoke to another person on the phone they said fl;ight was available when they then checked further told me I could not change my ticket. Seems to me that they have problems interpreting the rules. I will try and change my ticket when I arrive in BKK. Richerts

Juan I take about half in sterling travellers cheques and for the rest I use my First Direct ATM card. In March I was charged a fee of £1.75 per transaction no matter how much I withdrew. The rate was good too. I will be doing the same when I go in November. Richerts

Aardvark. I was supposed to stay there last October. I faxed credit card as requested. Subsequently had to cancel. Took 3 months to get a refund. This month a new billing has appeared on my credit card. Waiting to hear why! Probably take 3 months for them to reply. Anyone else had problems with them? Ric
