  4. Frosty as you live there, do you get your money u need by withdrawing from ATMs or do you transfer money other ways? Just curious on what some ex-pats do.
  5. If you want to earn very high returns, you should look at emerging markets (10+%) and many countries do not tax interest on deposits. Sure there is higher risk, but you can mitigate this by spreading the risk over different countries. That way if you lose say 1 account, you still are positive for the year. You also mitigate your risk by investing in one of the country's largest and most stable banks. For example the International Bank of Azerbaijan in Baku.   8. Staying at PBR now and nothing has changed. Boem and Kim are staying around until the end of the month I think and both have said the new owners will keep things as is. We will see...
  9. Usually use them each time I go to Thailand. Always found them excellent. Clean planes, with video on the back of each seat. The only gripe I have is that there isn't much leg room, but usually the planes aren't full so you can spread out.

  12. You could walk to Pattaya Klang and get a baht bus there. Only a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel. In low season they are offiering 1,050 per night.

  16. Used Mr. Dream a few times, then he was a no show then never used him again. Maybe just a one time thing, but will probably not go back to him.

  18. If it is your first time, then for sure book in advance. If not, then book a place for a night and have a look around. Many guesthouses will have rooms available at reasonable rates (at least they did last year).
