one thing i think i have learned since living here is this... When somebody states, they have x amount, it cost this much, they know x major in the police... they probably dont... Renewed my non im. B. visa last week. My passport expires next year Sept. So they only gave me 11 months. I was under the impression that Honk Kong could supply a new passport and was going to take a trip there. No i hear they send it to the uk i will do it via post. Paul.

It does get to me a bit... Here we are most of us for whatever reason visiting Pattaya or living here and moaning about bar noise, parties and short timers! If you are a light sleeper then dont stay in the city centre. There are many cheaply priced hotels to the east where you can have an undisturbed nights sleep with no clip clop of short timers... If i wanted a relaxing quiet holiday i would not come to pattaya...

This is far to complex to explain fully here. 1) you are considering using a 3G network to connect your dvr CCTV system to the Internet? And then access the stream via a 3 g signal or some other method. 2) I checked this dtac 3G speed and ping on walking street this evening just up from walking street bar because I am a geek and like to know these things but didn't check every nook and fanny. 3) it's very cheap to get a system installed and setup here as I did mine. A 4 camera system installed with IR and setup for remote access 14,000B. I already had Internet in the bar, tot 6 me

Most off-the-shelf CCTV systems have built into the software some sort of streing software. You will need a static IP address or a client to take care of that for you. You will obviously need an ok connection, I have TOT 6 meg connection and that is more than enough. Paul

you are a young guy and i am sure little will have changed for you, besides the prices! good times can be had for almost any budget, respect the girls, be polite, buy the occasional lady drink and already i am jealous of you! lol! i am 47 and still have a laugh and some offers from random customers, thai ladies that is. one thing i have noticed especialy over the last year is now having 2 bars more and more of my customers are thai, women and couples and they have expendable income, beleive me things are changing to the trained eye! good luck and have a good time Paul

Have you heard of the "World Class" Campaign? It may be that you haven't heard these rumors, or tht you have and just think its "Pie in the Sky" but, they are out there. Agreed, I think it will be a tall order. Another "Rumor" was they were going to reclaim the beach behind walking street! Look I think Walking St is an asset to Pattaya but something is happening and for sure only the guys in the echelons of power will know the true story...
