A great 99bt Pasta bar 200yds up the hill and a superb dentist opposite the pasta bar -
Have any of you guys managed to get a good enough signal in any of the hotels to get a good picture and playback. We like the odd night watching telly during our stays (I know sad ain't it) but sophon is so bad now that its not worth bothering with. What you be the best way with a good laptop and cables to have a descent nights viewing or alternatively which hotels offer more than sophon.

Dental: bright smile Vs laser
kesam1 replied to hybrid's topic in Doctors, Dentists, Clinics and Hospitals
2 Weeks ago I had laser whitening done at PERFECT SMILE DENTAL CLINIC for 8k great dentist who I will write a report on when i get back. I was going to have a 5 tooth bridge replaced but the whitening was so good I didnt bother. For the first time in my life I now show my teeth when I smile. Cant recommend them highly enough. Opposite 99bt past on the hill to Jomtien. No sign of fading yet but I did in the bleech kit for use when it does -
The mrs had a boob job at Bumrungrad and I have to say the service and facilities are fantastic. www.bumrungrad.com. It is more expensive than most thai hospitals but it is first rate.

Great to see you Shane. About the girls "which ones love a bit of Bi" I added to your post on the other board but it just got swallowed up in the pile of inane crap that is in abundance at the moment. Great idea on the features card for your girls, We will definitely look in when we are out

Golf Lessons and best course?
kesam1 replied to LordFlash's topic in RideHer Cup Planning and Discussion
There should be plenty on this if you use the search function. Third Road Driving range and Richard Livingston 700baht per lesson is a very good start -
Acers for me for the last 3 times excellent support when I broke my screen, next day replacement. Currently using Travelmate 8200 and its perfect for me

I have to say that working through the PDQ I was thinking this is different to the little bit of what I learned in Pattaya. And you have hit the nail on the head. Its just to correct and way to polite. Trying the Rossetta Stone version now that seems a little better but the Thai Trainer software does look good. Anybody else got opinions on Rossetta programme

Would be interested in this aswell I am currently doing the linguaphone pdq course but would like to take it further.

http://www.etihadairways.com/etihadairways...ge+Services.htm I wish the etihad allowances were 30 for Cattle Fatboyfat, but the above link is my understanding of their allowance However if you reach the first level of their ff programme you get an extra 10kg i believe -
I love a drink in the Haven on Soi 13 with all the golfers (I know I'm a golf bore but thats where we hang out) but for drink and entertainment I love Catz, never pestered for drinks and a good few 8 and 9 in the place with no attitude

If the 2 class aircraft are out of Mancheter then this could be a serious contender to replace my usual EVA flight, looking forward to a live report on the new aircraft.

Cheshiretom is it worth getting a one way business class ticket from Manchester and then buying a return ticket for bkk - man - bkk as I keep seeing very good pricing from Emirates return business at 69k bht in the Pattaya mail or is there some problem in doing it this way. All help much appreciated Regards Kev and Sam

Its not far to walk but not a trip you should make on foot in the dark. Plenty of bhat buses though and just accept thats the way to get where you want to go. A great place my wife and \i have stayed there 2wice and will arrive for another month on Saturday

I normally fly EVA evergreen deluxe and I have gathered enough miles to upgrade to P/L for my visit in Feb. However with the change in aircraft on the LHR bkk flight it now seems not worthwhile fying in the elite class. With this in mind, what are the B/Ms feeling as to the best business class deal avail for someone flying the return leg twice a year taking into account the ff miles etc Many thanks I am leaning towards gulf air at the moment with my internet studies but theres nothing to replace the knowledge and advice of people who have used the service.
