Dont go drinking one night save yourself 60 dollars and fly. If you take the bus you will be kicking yourself in the ass. I took that bus and it sucks and last year figuring I had extra time decided to take the ferry and bus from Kho Phangan to Phuket. Was suppose to take 9 hours took 18 so be prepared.

No word on the construction but when I stayed there in January and February the a/c drove me crazy. But heres the trick put it on the lowest setting and it wont make so much noise and still keep the room cool. But next January going to stay somewhere else.

I had the flight last year on Bangkok Airway. Bangkok Air best sevice and most beautiful stewardesss I have ever had on an airline. The airport is at u-tapao which is about 45 minutes away from Pattaya. Get a car from the hotel or go the cheap route if your with some mates and get a baht bus I think they charged us 500bht to the airport.

I flew China Air three years ago before I knew about their safety record and it was a very good flight. The stewardess were beautiful and after buzzing them every 5 minutes for some scotch they decided to give us the whole bottle of Johnny Walker, cant think of any better service then that. Been flying United the last two years only because one less stop over. But to all you flying from OZ Never fly Olympic what a shit carrier.

I guess because of their financial troubles they are cutting back on some routes. I flying through Chicago to Tokyo to Bangkok. Also when I talked to my agent it seemed like most of the flights were booked.

Hey all, flyin solo this trip and looking to split a taxi on the 13th flying in on the 12 at 11 25 pm so sometime in the early afternoon of the 13 th or late morning . This is my fourth trip to pattaya and cant believe I couldnt get anyone to come with me. Just came back from Costa Rica a week ago what a great trip. The girls were hotter then Thailand but Thailand still has the best lays.
