I had no problem with the people at all, they were all very friendly and welcoming, however they did feel that they had the rights to the contents of my wallet..lol, I would visit a local bar with lady I was staying with and discover at the end of the night that all her friends had been drinking at my expense, likewise in the restaurant or take away, everyone eats free when the westerners are in town. I recenlty had the pleasure of using Nam`s Taxi service & found her to be a charming young lady. The conversation flowed between us like old friends. Her sister Ning came for the ride along on the trip back to the airport, also very pleasant and soon to be up and running in a taxi of her own. Have stayed in the jasmine suite a few times. I usually stay in the Queen Vic but for some unknown reason, I decided and to venture out a bit this trip and have got an apartment in the Nova Mirage complex in Naklua.
