  7. Dear wife: I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you forever. I've been a good man to you for 7 years & I have nothing to show for it. These last 2 weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you quit your job today & that was the last straw. Last week, you came home & didn't even notice I had a new haircut, had cooked your favorite meal & even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You ate in 2 minutes, & went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore; you don't want anything that connects
  8. You may want to consider Cambodia where it's not necessary to leave-ever.A business visa, valid for 30 days on arrival (no questions asked) may be renewed legally,in perpetuity, for roughly $270 per year.
  9. Thanks for the props,ac.So far I've booked Macau,Singapore,Phnom Penh and Hat Yai through July.
  10. The fuel surcharges, along with the baggage charge and increased fees for other services are what's keeping many airlines afloat. My airline, now the largest in the world, switched capacity to int'l flts about 18 months back, while reducing domestic capacity and that has helped the bottom line tremendously. I just booked Bangkok-Hat Yai for 620b,incl express boarding both ways-amazing.
  11. Too bad they won't refund the fuel surcharges on the 2 tickets I have purchased for March and May.
  12. That's correct-half a million.Book Nov 12-16 and fly June 22-Oct 24.
  13. Bless them. For civilian jobs, veterans get no/little if any-preference.For gov't jobs, being a vet is worth points toward your qualification.
  14. So far,the 1st 3 posters here. The company that I spent 28+ years at and my Father spent 31+ years at,Delta Air Lines, didn't do squat for us.But like every other bleeding heart company in the US,now it's in vogue to recognize Veterans and their contributions.Imagine the difference when I returned home in 1972 from Okinawa.....with nearly 2 more years to spend in uniform in the good ol' USA.
  15. He has a nice setup down south. I plan on bringing my new PC and either the 19" or 22" monitor with me when I move down that way.
  16. He was the most powerful man in the world,IIRC. And since he stated the above re:BBBJ,I have made it a point to tell most women that are the lease bit concerned (mainly falang women) that a BJ is NOT sex.I fugure if I fool 1 or 2 of them,I'm still ahead for the game.
  17. I guess it IS possible to have ADSL and not a working phone line! Yep,TOT came through tonight with internet and no phone but I never use the phone anyway.I promote them from Third World to Second World point five.
