  1. I am trying to avoid the Bangkok trip and dragging all my shit over the border on foot, hence my post. I know for a fact that there is a direct line from Bangkok that started about 1 year ago where the same bus takes you all the way to PP or Siem Reap. I was just wondering if any of those companies in Pattaya that advertise Pattaya-Siem Reap round trip are doing the same and if anyone had first hand experience here on the board...
  2. I'm bumping up this topic to ask if anyone has actually done the overland minibus route by Pattaya based travel agency and if so, which one? To me flying is not an option because of my excess luggage while time I have plenty.
  3. There's a place on 3rd Road somewhere before South Pattaya Road where I always see at least a dozen of them roasting and they do look good. Need to check the exact location, though...
  4. Last week I wanted to buy USD for my baht since it was 32.4. My plans changed and didn't want to carry too much cash. Now it's 33 and rising
  5. Thank you, that is exactly what I was looking for. See, I made a change on my booking and my credit card deal did not go through. So, instead of them trying again until they block my card for good, prefer to pay the penalty in person but no way I am going to Bangkok just for this. Here, that's the deal. I do know there's no Emirates office in Pattaya, a 5 year old can figure that out...
  6. I know there's one in Bangkok and Phuket but anyone knows one here in Pattaya? I would really appreciate it.
  7. Yes. Noticed that His Majesty and Johnny Depp are looking at something neither of us see?
  8. The promotion has ended - says the web site. I am also struggling with the last fiasco with the airline - they cancelled my ticket but took my money. All this with being their privileged customer and so on. I purchased 6 tickets from them in the last 2 years still they wanted debilitating proofs that I am me, despite the fact that I am both the guy who travels and owns the credit card. Fucking idiots!
  9. You should've said - cheeze Dungheap... :)
  10. I used kickass while in Thailand for the last few years with no problem at all. My preferred download of all.
  11. I've said pretty much the same thing except for your last sentence but only MeGoDanceNow seemed to pick it up.
  12. Please don't play the victim card. You did not get "jumped on" because you gave an opinion, I replied to you because you kept on insisting to give a totally false review of the place. Furthermore, their pizza is a lot more European(Italian) than it is American, so that complaint didn't really stand either. You got "jumped on" because your "review" is totally unfair. I am not sure what kind of pizza you are used to but please enlighten me for better understanding.
  13. 150 baht for the one pictured above, that is the small one, there's no way I can eat the large which I believe 250 but have to check. Had one to go about a week ago, we ate half for dinner with the mrs of the day and had cold pizza for breakfast. There's a wide selection to choose from but I am a sucker for anchovies and capers, could eat them all the time That's silly, they can get anchovies in a jar, cheaper than the canned version. Guess he just doesn't like anchovies....
  14. Rodney, please do us all a favor and don't take a raincheck just simply stop this annoying nonsense you started here for whatever reason and STFU. The pizza in Brooklyn Diner is one of the best available in Pattaya and definitely the very best at these prices. I've been eating there regularly in the last few weeks after trying several establishments in the area. I was a firm believer that Pizza & Pasta has the best anchovy/capers pizza in town but was wrong. Brooklyn wins hands down. Rare addition is that you have herbs and virgin olive oil to add if that what you fancy -a nice touch tha
