Thats right. I think the wording goes........If I have to explain...he wouldnt understand.

I still wouldnt fly them. Bransons original principles for Virgin was to undercut BA and keep fares low. Now his prices are the same or as near as dammit to BA prices. Branson says one thing and does another. He, personally is a nice bloke, but he has some absolute arseholes working for him/

Qatar prices tickle me a little. It would seem that, when they send out their newsletter, their prices to all consolidators go up to their standard LHR-BKK-LHR rate of around £460 - £470 Then, 2 weeks later the price drops down again. I got my last newsletter from Qatar around 2 weeks back and checking the price for October departures it was £469 This morning I see its now down to £421. I'll wait to see what the price does when I get their next newsdrop. Thai have also dropped a little for October departures on their A380 at £456 so they are probably expecting the demand to drop. Stunning Thai Fashion Models: A Photographic Tribute

Personally I find very few of them 'stunning' especially the spoiled bints with their pinched plastic noses and the very very stupid Contact lenses, and theres some tarts there I wouldnt go near if they paid me! Ive seen better in many gogos and even in the MBK Food hall. Lets face it even a pig can be made to look semi attractive with a pro makeup job -
I did, but on this occasion there were several hiccups. I had booked on Thai, Due to a horrendous smash on the M3 Motorway we were stuck there for over 3 hours (My car was damaged) and the flight was missed To cut a long story short, I 'Phoned a friend' who cross booked me onto the next flight which was the BA flight. I had little choice as I didnt want to pay again and had a meeting in Bangkok that couldnt be cancelled. Out of sheer panic and desperation and still in a bit of a shock after the accident I took the flight. The seats were so small and the legroom was appalling with my knee

I consider it insulting that Economy passengers are made to pay up to help out the First and Business class. Its just BA Bullshit. On my trip out to BKK 3 years back on the tightly packed in 777 the food ran out and they had to offer just salads. It also happened on our 22 hour delayed return flight. I spoke to one of the shirtlifter hostesses outside the airport who told me BA never supply enough standard meals for passengers on Long haul to the far east. Thats another thing, every one of the staff on both flights were shirtlifters, mincing backwards and forwards like little whores.. Sti

Singapore Airlines joins the cheapie fold from UK
Goldpanner replied to Goldpanner's topic in Airline Discussion
I'd rsather spend the day in the Airport. I found sentosa Boring, the fecking cable car broke down when we were halfway across and I get scared of heights. The only places I realy loved were the Newton Circus food stalls and the old original Bugis Street that the Dictator Lee Kuan Yu shut down. I remember getting to Singapore in the late 60's with the band to do a gig and they refused us entry because of our long hair. WE just said fuck it and got back on the next plane and the Singapore agent had to pay !! -
BA are now considering charging for meals and food on Long Hau flights and the money saved will be used to Enhance Business and First class. BA food is already some of the worst in the world, their service is also apalling, so it just means more people will use alternatives. Ive used BA twice in my life and both time was a catastrophe and the last flight cost them more than the flight cost me. I will never ever fly with them again and will try and deter anyone from from using what I consider one of the worst Airlines in the world.

I did. I was told about this before but in 3 trips Ive never been able to find it. Thats why we pay for the VIP service but if I found that gate I could just ask for the wheelchair option SENT FROM AN OLD TRANSMITTER USING MORSE CODE.

I would suggest you are getting ripped off. You should never book direct with the airline as they will sell you the standard fare whenever you book. Also as I said you will never get a decent fare booking that far ahead as none of the Airlines have even started thinking about their seat allocations so you will always pay top whack. But its your money sir.
-
Never seen it? where is it?
-
You are looking far too far ahead. No flight allocations have even been considerd for those dates yet so the prices you will see wull be the standard fare. Apart from the fact that those dates you show are high season.

For years they refused to be drawn into the cheap flights sector but looking at prices recently SIA have now dropped to the level of most other airlines by offering cheap flights to Bangkok via Singapore Last time I looked they were around £460 down from their usual £600+ I suspect they are hoping that tourists might try a stopover in Singapore, but honestly there is nothing there to see other than getting chased around shopping malls by indians trying to sell suits. On my last trip I nearly had to deck dome indian who followed us for around 15 minutes and it took a policeman to stop him.

They realy do try anything to make Harleys look attractive. Personally I'll stick with my Norton

Air ticket prices should stay pretty high-ish and stable now untill after July/August except if anyone has a lot of spare allocations then you might see some good price dumps like a few years back when Thai dumped several hundred seat for £325

Qatar are at present £430 from the UK but as stated were £321 in January. Im going out in October and I will wait untill early October to get my ticket now. Thai are £457 at present.

I know one UK guy who has been married to a Thai woman for over 6 years and has 2 kids and he still cant get a Visa for her to come here. Its the bloody stupid earning levels they have brought in now. £18600 or more or she dont get a Visa. I told him to register as Disabled when those limits dont count.!!
-
Not on departures from the UK sir. I used to sell air tickets to the Far East. (anyone remember Thai Travel) As I explained if you check some fares 9 months in advance you can get some brilliant deals. As I explained, in January this year, Qatar, Emirates and even Eva Air tickets could be bought for between £321 to £350. Now they are all around £100 more. As I explained, in the UK the big Operators like FETC Kuoni etc block book around 10 to 15 rows on most flights from UK to Bangkok around7 to 8 months in advance. Thats when the prices go up. Now around 6 weeks before departure dates those c

Exactly, I should have booked in January but wasnt sure of my dates. Qatar were £321 at one point.
-
Why dont you take your car and book a Hotel and Car Parking package prior to departure? Thats what we always do. Drive down to LHR and stay at a decent Hotel then drive round to T2 Long Stayin the morning and park up. Our package past year was around £140 for Hotel and parking plus free transfers.

Booking very very early works. You need to book before the big companies do their ticket allocations with the airlines. Early this year Qatar were selling tickets London Bkk London for £321 for October/November departures.. !! THEN the big boys came in with their seat demands and allocations and the ticket prices went up by over £100 they are now around the £430 upwards. They will come down when the big boys have to dump their allocations or pay around a month or 6 weeks prior to the departure dates. So, either book them very early or very late, never in the middle.
