I find 777's seating too cramped especially BA's 777's with the wing exit now blocked. Dreamliners builds are now too flaky for me.

Yeah thank god it wasnt a Trent as certain Boeing supporters (who are at present very quiet) would have been cackling their tits off. I love the A380, great plane. Though I also loved the old Jumbo's and especially the 707's. I wont fly on a 777 or Dreamliner I can remember my first trip out to Oz on a BA 707 in 1966. The routing, which is still clear in my mind was: Zurich, Rome, Delhi, Rangoon, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Perth. Happy days.

Honey Hotel Bangkok. Still Open?
Goldpanner replied to Goldpanner's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
Ah OK cheers. I love that old fleapit. It has an outdoor pool on the first floot thast overlooks the road. In Songkran 4 years back we would stand by the edge of the pool and pour cups of water over the side onto people !! Great days -
I think the reason Thai Fares are holding up is the aggro between Qatar and other Gulf states. Also Thai are shipping tons and tons of food through to Qatar so are on a good profit margin so can keep seat prices up. When the Qatar thing finally sorts itself out prices will drop. I mean TG were £465 before the Gulf crap started.

Ive never had much to do with the African routes but, saying that my friend uses these and said he had got some decent fares http://www.business-flights.co.uk/business-class-flights

As my next trip to BKK will probably be in April I may just do the hop to S'ville if I can find a flight.

The reason most of the front and mid section seats show full is because of the big company's and consolidators allocations. The closer to departure dat you get the better chance you have of finding an empty space. The upper back economy section of the A380's is also generally shown as not available is because of the pricing.depending on what company your booking with.

In the morning? Fuck that, though there is a seafood place around the corner to it. I hate seafood at the best of time. Bacon & Egg roll for me

Once Concorde lifted off it went onto afterburners, hence the incredible sensation of being pushed back into your seats. And for the unwashed bad toothed yanks? yes I flew it quite a few times. I got my tickets paid by the band managers so it cost me nothing as it was a good tax write off. It was the US Authorities and Boeing jealousy that killed Concorde. No one else. The evidence is easily available but I doubt you yank fan boys want to believe it. Do I care? Do I fuck.

A Lot of the Reviews for the T2 Lounges werent that good. I used it a few years back and was dissapointed.I wont do it again. Now I go down to that superb little cafe in T2 that serves the most delicious Bacon & Egg rolls and a rather good cup of tea.

If the cancel too many flights complain to Heathrow airport and the CAA. They cant start cancelling too many flights before they will lose their slots outright. An airline is legally obligated to run a certain amount of its slots out of Heathrow,if they continually fail to do so they can get booted

Batterd spam eye A chunk of battered spam with a hole cut in the middle and an egg yolk dropped in then fry the lot.

Skyscanner wont show Qatar offers as they are specific to online sales via Qatar Airlines own site I dont think the Qatar offer has any relationship to the prices being offered by sites like Skyscanner as Qatar are just cutting their own price and not the fares out to Consolidators.

Good Grief. Your knowledge is amazing.? Isnt it uncomforatble walking around with your foot in your mouth? On perceived noise levels the majority of US airports refused Concorde landing right. Actually there was no problem with noise levels,it was tiny mindedness on behalf of the US Government at the time and jealousy by Boeing that they couldnt economically build a Concorde. Without access to the main US Airports The Atlantic route was buggered. Because of the bullshit put out by US Authorities and Boeing about noise and pollution levels most countries in the world alsochanged their mind ab

Majority? ? I think not.Youre showing your lack of ailines flying to Oz from the UK via South East Asia or using it as a stopover point. SIA, Thai, Cathay, BA, Qantas, Garuda, PI, Malaysian, China (All 3 airlines), Air NZ, JAL, ANA, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines, Royal Brunei, All the above offer flights to Oz from the UK and offer stopovers in their country. The middle east has very very little to offer anyone as a stopoverunless you like sand, camels and stupid hotels. Any more stupid remarks?

To our uneducated friends across the pond who are unacustomed to this culinary delight? It is the 75th Anniversay of that wonderfull food called SPAM. I still like Spam and Mustard Pickle or Picallilli sandwiches, having been brought up on the stuff. My Thai wife wont go near it and my daughter thinks it is meat of the devil, but I dont care. Spam is great !! Happy Birthday Spam. https://www.facebook.com/spambrand/posts/448085535224229 https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spam_(food)
