Thai Airways 777-300 - IFE Box Locations
Goldpanner replied to CyberSpud's topic in Airline Discussion
Why dont you fly on the Lunchtime A380? that 777 realy is a bummer of a plane, the seats are so small -
Im booked on their A380 LHR to BKK in 10 days and the flight is full apart from a few seats.the return sector also looks 3/4 full. I rang them and tried to wangle an upstairs seat but effectively got told to piss off.

Thai add extra daily flight from London to Bangkok. Beware !
Goldpanner replied to Goldpanner's topic in Airline Discussion
No Thanks. Im not paying those fares. When I ran a travel business I got free Business class or free upgrades and I never ever thought that the extra that people paid for Business was worth what you got. Then again most of those travelling didnt pay for their tickets so didnt care. I'd rather go economy and save that money for a better use :) -

They wont let me book on the upper deck of the A380 for love or money -
I see on the Thai airlines page they are adding an extra flight from October from London to Bangkok. Oh really? Yes they are running a B777 on the route. I sincerely hope they are not using the same seat spacing as BA are doing. BA's 777 flights to Bangkok are little less that torture and they should realy be stopped from using flights with that seat spacing for Long Haul flights. I just hope Thai arent going the same route with their seat spacing. You cant fool all of the people all of the time.

Ambien zombies on a plane. Is this about you?

I just have a wank. -
Getting the Visa in Thailand is simply the First Hurdle she may have to go through an Interview at her entry port in the UK. And a Visa in Thailand does not guarantee entry into the UK, it simply gives them a right to get on the plane and land at a UK port. The its UK Immigration that takes over. Sometimes its simple somtimes in the case of a friend she was refused entry and sent back the same day. That was actually illegal as they gave her no right of appeal.

But ISIS worst enemy is the Saudi's ! so the less stops the less problems.

Changed my mind on the Emirates flight just in case Isis decide to have a go, booked Thai on their new A380. £503.

-

-
Ukraine Airways London to BKK return in October around £340 !! Bloody cheap but I suspect like the old Romanian airways there will be splinters in the toilet paper and the milk will be served from an old coke bottle Seen on Skyscanner

Its advertised as KLM but I think youll find its actually an Emirates flight flying under the KLM codesharing

Cheapest OH yeah flying their cramped seat worn 777. They still dont carry sufficient 'Normal' food either. On both legs outbaound and inbound then ended up having to give half the plane Veggie food. The seats are also terrible. I will never fly them again. OH yes and a 22 hour delay and it took a County Court action and 4 months for them to pay out compensation. Never......ever... again
-
Success !!! After issuing Court Proceedings against BA they paid out the full €600 for the 22 hour delay Chuffed am I
-
So My ongoing battle with BA. They have denied responsibility claiming the old 'Exceptional circumstance' Ive refused. Then they offered €100. I refused that and pointed out to them that their offer was tantamount to an acceptance of Liability. Ive issued a Letter Before Action to them and intend issuing County Court Action on the 28th Jan if they dont settle.

Were not talking Al Qaeda here were talking ISIS. BIG difference. The more you dig the more you find a lot of connections between ISIS and Qatar. Lets suppose, just suppose ISIS tell Qatar to reroute one of their aircraft with alcohol swilling eu degenerates on their way to Bangkok? It aint too far removed from a possibility these days. Why have all the Arab states around Qatar chucked the Qatari Ambassadors out?. The wonderfull Arab 'Brotherhood' must have been a bit disturbed over something? One state throwing an Ambassador out OK, But ALL of them?. Somethings going on. No Panic Att
-
But ISIS has urged its supporter to attack the Saudis where and when they can. The other strange thing is that most UAE countries have sent back their Qatari Ambassador. Also, last week in one newspaper I read bout there being several ISIS high-ups and financiers living openly in Qatar. Then the Al Jazeera news channel states links between the Qatari Government or certain members of it, and ISIS. Thats sufficient to stop me using them. I hope Thai get their new planes soon
-
Just before bed last night I swicthed channels to Al Jazeera.. I was just going to turn off when something caught my eyes. Qatar has just had aits Ambassadors from the surrounding Enmirates, Bahrain, Saudi etc for 'undisclosed reasons' then Al Jaz went on to state that it was know that the Qatari Government were sympathetic to ISIL and that several high ranking financiers of ISIL were indeed living in Qatar. Thats it for me using Qatar airlines any more. How long untill we see beheadings on the tarmac at the airport??

Well 3 weeks on from my claim, no response from BA so it a now a letter before action then County Court.

Things are getting better, after the final Huzar appeal decision http://www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/airlines-face-claims-for-millions-after-supreme-court-passenger-compensation-ruling-9832031.html Britain’s airlines are preparing themselves for a flood of flight delay compensation claims after the Supreme Court threw out applications by two airlines to appeal earlier verdicts. When passenger rights rules took effect a decade ago, cash compensation was payable only for cancellation and overbooking. But test cases held that a three-hour plus delay was equivalent to canc
