A few years ago I had my will made up in Chiang Mai and the cost was 700 baht, 3 copies in English and 2 in Thai. I did it because I found that when you die they tell the US Embassy and the Embassy freeze all your Thai bank accounts. Now my wife's name is not on the accounts because of immigration reasons she would have a hard time getting that money without a will.

I don't think you will problem with walking in and booking a room but you may have to pay more per night for the room, a lot of the Hotels are cheaper if you book on line.

I have used Nam's taxi service twice but Nam was never the driver, the first time was a day tour in Pattaya and the family had a great time the driver was Pom Pom, the second time was not so good. I had a pick up at the airport to Pattaya and the plane was on time, when we landed I turned my phone on and it rang where you at, I just landed still on the plane, walking to the baggage claim the phone rang again where you at and then when I got to baggage claim BEFORE the baggage started to come it rang again where you at. Got into the Taxi on our way to Pattaya I asked the driver a question asked

I booked with Taxigood out of Bangkok for a mini van to pick up family at Swampy Airport to pattaya, I confirmed it and got a reply that it was confirmed but they were a NO SHOW!!!! No call, no e-mail, no text They just didn't show up. I would not recommend Taxigood if you what to be sure for a pick up.

Nam's taxi booking contacted me and we talked and found out that the booking was a misunderstanding about e-mails. I have to give the lady credit she is honest and trying.

Nam was my first choice but it didn't work out, I contacted her and she gave me a price and after the tickets was bought and conformed I contacted her again to conform the day and she raised the price not much 200baht but it was the point you don't give some one a price and change the price when he wants to conform it. I e-mailed her and asked for the lower price her reply to me was rude. I'm not saying she's not good I never used her but I would not recommend her by the way she handles her bookings.

I'm going to need a Driver with a car or taxi for a day or two to drive me around Pattaya to see some sites, does anyone know any drivers that they used before that are good. I have a alternative the Baht Bus but I sooner have the AC.

I read a review a man booked with Agoda said free airport pick up but when the man got to the hotel he had to pay for the pick up, he said free the hotel said no we never had free pick up from the airport.

This fight is 7 years to late, I myself think that it's going to be a boring fight with a split disision, no one loses face. If the fight was 7 years ago when they both were in there prime and had something to prove it would of been a great fight to see, not today when they BOTH are talking about retireing, maybe there looking for a last BIG payday. I would of paid to see the fight 7 years ago not today for a show.

I went today to renew my drivers license here in Chiang Rai, all I needed was a copy of my passport and visa page, copy of my house book and a photo that they took there. I went in and they checked my eyes and brake reaction time, then they put me in a room and played a 90 minute video on how to drive in Thailand the Thai's called it drivers school, when the video was done I paid 605 baht got my photo taken and got my new licence. Has anyone else had to watch that video or is it something new.

I stayed there before a few years ago and that was the last time, booked 3 rooms for family 2 rooms AC's did not work, I ask the maid about turning it in and she said all the rooms same. Bad service after you wait a long time to get it but the food was good and you have to wait a long time to get that too.

Beware of a taxi with the meter on the dash, got a meter taxi at Ekamai bas station to Soi 22 a 60Bt ride, we went two blocks and the meter aready said 45Bt it was flipping every 30 seconds, I asked him what was wrong with the meter it's flipping so fast and he said something and start to drive like hell to get me to my Soi. We got to my Soi and the meter said 80Bt, don't know what it would of been it I didn't say anything. Beware if the meter turns every 30 seconds.
