Hi, It seems a difficult job alright. I don't think any real big name would take it. It would give someone like Martinez a chance to really make their name however. Any gooners who complain about Wenger can now see that the Champions League is more important than winning the cups for the money men. Arsenal have a new stadium and Liverpool, Spurs and Chelsea are talking about it still. Liverpool have a difficult job to get back to the top and they have very truculent fans who make it difficult for their managers.

Hi, Well Mancini seems to like Arsenal players. Clichy, Nasri, Toure come to mind. The Portuguese clubs seem to be able to sell their best players and find new ones and remain competitive. Even Athletico Madrid had only a handful of the players from their previous team which won the Europa League again. They sold Khun Aquero to Man City and of course Torres was sold to Liverpool. Most of the teams in the Premiership , maybe even Man Utd, will have to adopt that strategy as Chelsea and Man City in England and Real Madrid and Barcelona in Spain have more money than them. Juventus are making a strong comeback in Italy and the Milan clubs always seem to have money to spend.

Hi, What a finish to the Premier League. Man City get 2 goals in extra time to make most people in England happy. Mancini has done a great job with all the off field antics of Tevez and Ballotelli. Sad to see Bolton go down with some more bad ref decisions. Arsenal surprise us gooners by grabbing third. I'm very surprised, maybe some new signings(Podolski +??) and Wiltshire back from injury(?) and we can challenge next year. Liverpool finish behind Everton which ain't great after all the money spent. Can King Kenny survive ? Think its a bit churlish to single out City for dodgy backers. The Premier League is awash with all types of dodgy money and practises. Still great entertainment if you dont take it too seriously.

Hi, The only way Pattaya will change is if the Thai economy does so well that the girls give up P4P.

Hi, There is some serious questions about the integrity of the Premier League alright. Too much dodgy money and dodgy individuals from all over the World. Murdoch employs half of the journalists in England, and seems to have the rest in his pocket, so there is no critical analysis of some of the more strange goings on.

Hi, Man City produce another excellent performance to beat an in form Newcastle. Man Utd maintain the pressure with a good win over Swansea. QPR seem to have saved themselves with a late winner against Stoke. Wigan see off Blackburn and stay for another year in the Premiership. Should be a good final day as everything is still up for grabs.

Hi, Anyone who reads this topic know what I think of Webb as a ref. What a disgraceful performance in the World Cup. Nearly cost Spain the title and me money.

Hi, City should be very worried about this guy getting this game. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2138260/Manchester-City-fans-upset-Howard-Webb-taking-charge-Newcastle-clash.html Howard's way upsets Man City fans as ref Webb is given crunch Newcastle clash

Hi, Disciplined performance by City as they prove too strong for United. Ferguson shows his lack of faith in his team by picking Park ahead of Welbeck. City still face a difficult away game at Newcastle but its in their hands now.

Hi, Newcastle seem destined for Champions League football after another good win. The Toon Army are on the march and Arry seems in trouble. Man Utd let a 2 goal lead slip to give Man City another sniff. I watched it in a pub where most the fans were Man Utd and they seemed really nervous all way through. I think they know they are no great shakes this year. Wolves go down after a hard battle against City.

Hi, Nice photos. I used to live on the 9 tram route and it seems like an antique one that you photographed. Nice to see the Old Sailor still going strong. Nice to have a beer there and watch the action close by.

Hi, Wigan are a strange team. Seem to be able to finish the season strongly. Arsenal were trying to beat them for sure. Martinez is a good manager and I'd like to see how he would do with more money. Disappointed with how Everton played when they took the lead against Liverpool. I think Martinez will go to the top of my managers league ahead of Moyes after that.

Hi, That type of thing happens in Italy. Not in England. See Ashley Young's "penalty" ?
-
Hi, Man Utd lose at Wigan and give City supporters some hope. The refs seem to have decided that Man Utd should only play against 10 men for most of the run in.
-
Hi, Man Utd beat a good Blackburn side and have likely won the League. Man City seem to have been hampered by infighting and the loss of form by their key players. Everton move above Liverpool. The Scousers were robbed in Newcastle by another of the Premierships finest, Atkinson. Spurs win against a good Swansea side and have a great chance of grapping third spot and automatic Champions League football. Chelsea are still flying the flag in Europe for a disappointing Premiership challenge. Ferguson needs to spend big to make inroads on the Champions League next season.
-
Liverpools growing reputation as a Cup team is confirmed as they lose to Wigan in the League. Spurs are unlucky not to beat Chelsea who seem to be concentrating on trying to win the Champions League. Newcastle look impressive against West Brom. Arsenal are on a good run and have a good chance of finishing in a Champions League qualifiying position. Everton get a great away win at Swansea and could finish above Liverpool if they continue their strong finish to the season. With Swansea and Norwich doing so well it seems that a few of the Premier League regulars are due for relegation this year.

Hi, Well I backed City at the start of the season. They still have a good chance IMO. Good performance by City last nigbt against Chelsea. Chelsea are still in the Champions League.
-
Hi, A good weekend for Man Utd as they go 4 points clear after demolishing Wolves. Blackburn have a good win over Sunderland and seem to be pulling clear of trouble. Man City have looked out of form for a while and it will be interesting to see how they do against a rejuvenated Chelsea tonight.

Hi, You use " right" twice in this sentence. If the restaurant is where I imagine it to be it would be a left turn. Maybe a right angle left turn ?
-
Hi, Steven Gerrard scores a hat trick as Liverpool beat Everton in the derby. Luis Suárez was the provider and is one of the best players in the League. Will Liverpool be able to hang on to him next season ?
-
Hi, Arsenal send the Toon Army home from North London with no points.... again.....

Airbus and Boeing products running behind schedule
wacmedia replied to BigDUSA's topic in Idle Chit Chat
HI, Maybe this will convince some on here that Boeing likes a subsidy as much as anyone. Wonder what BigD thinks of all the money the banks have been given. -
Hi, Right. I was just trying to wind up Siam Sam.

. Hi, We can't forget King Kenny has won the first major trophy of the year. City and United looked outclassed in Europe BTW.
