  1. www.netflights.com have return fares on Eva for £ 405 advertised on there site . Might be worth a butchers although i suspect these prolly wont earn any miles !
  2. Avoid Cebu Pacific and go with Pal and one of there Econlite fares . 3 days is suficent for a first timer to get a taste of AC but be careful it can be a whole lotta fun !!
  3. Quite correct bout the Nationwide cards and all UK issues cards it seems to decline , had read dozens of gripes about this all over the internet and CP dont seem to give a shit , crazy that some of there flights on the BKK-CRK route have been flying at 75% ocuppancy !!! Guess the only drama bout booking in Thailand is that you will pay top dollar price grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
  4. I have been reading up on doing exactly this ... My buddy has 70k in miles and has no plans to use them so was prepared to come to a arrangement with me . Upon reading all the rules it seems u cannot combine them with existing mileage for a free ticket or combine them for card renewal ,you cant even book a one way award ticket with Eva miles !! Apart from me using them for a cabin upgrade and they only allow you to go one class up they are pretty worthless. If any of you guys have any better ideas lets hear them pls . Cheers Matty
  5. Cheers Gus your right there is a lack of hong nams on 777 compared with the old 747 ,people were constanley queing for a ching chong Top tip I never eat tha airline food and thats tha time to go as everone else is sitting down eating -never a Q Matty
  6. Gus your right. I can confirm that there is no big lifrraft block on the 777 unlike the 747. I sat in that seat back in october and was very happy . Matty
  7. Hi Loads of good info on here http://www.airlinequality.com/Forum/etihad.htm. Also if you do a serch on this section i am sure some other guys posted some reviews of there flight. Regards Matty
  8. Anyone had any experinces of this place its located on soi lengke. Have found a few shots scattered across the web but wanted some first hand knowledge. Looks pretty good for 700 baht. If not anything similar in the same area ,must have a pool and a in room safe would be good . Ta Matty
  9. Cheers for that mate . Just been gettin some prices from los and eva seem to be coming in around 42k. Aint really viable ,but a good idea anyway. Just booked anyway with Trailfinders for the sum of £537! Regards Matty
  10. Wonder if any of you guys have ever tried this . I have two trips planned for jan and april . What i was going to do is to buy in the uk a changable return date ticket on eva ,whilst in thailand purchase the same ticket at a cheaper price . Then i would change the date on the original ticket for my jan trip to the return date on my april ticket . Then fly home on the new ticket bought in Los . Is this fesible or am i making things too complicated. Matty
  11. Have to say i found the seats in economy much more comftable than the ones on the 747. Regards Matty
  12. Anyone else found that price for Eva are gettin more expensive ,i have been searching round for 2 flights for jan and april and the cheapest seems to be £540. East west, thg and trailfinders all seem tha same . Is this because of increasing oil prices or am i being cynical in thinking that they are charging more for them nice new shiny 777 they are flying from LHR-BKK ?? Reckon i will stay with them as i have 60k miles plus now .... Regards Matty
  13. Nothing wrong with Norwich Farman apart from its in england and so are we !!! Regards Matty(25 miles east )
