Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

I know the mosquitoes cannot go beyond a certain height - but how do you know it is floor 9 ?

Where are the different View Talay projects located - are there some kind of map they are marked up on or can knowledgeable member draw it - http://maps.google.com/ ? And BTW if there are more than one eager to sell - At the price/condition mentioned in the OP I would be very interested too :-)

Reasonabley priced storage of luggage

Yes - I have considered these options - and I might end up trying that. I would still like to have the storage option though. Thanks. -

Yes - I think they would - but I am planning to stay in a different hotel -
Spankys Bar soi Diamond
Odense replied to spankys bar soi diamond's topic in Bars/Gogos/Business Owners' Forum
Hi Scott, Can you repeat since I must have missed the post with the barfine prices and if there was different levels of that ? Also if there are different barfines prices if they are easily identifiable ? I WILL go in and say hi though :)- 76 replies

I have (as usual) dragged too much luggage with me to Pattaya. I am planning to do one or two little excursions during my trip and don't want to have so much luggage with me on those. Is there any storage facilities where I could pay a reasonable fee to have the excess luggage stored while being away ?

So - 700 baht - is that now the same as Lolita's or have they raised the prices too ?
-
I can say pretty much the same as LeoTex with the regrettable exeption of NOT reaching a dozen over the last few years ;-)

I saw Gabor with the hungarian girlfriend and also think he should be fucking her - with a thai girl added for some extra spice. But that is up to them - and it is good of Gabor to share the pics.

There was a quited marked flooding in October too in Pattaya - only one night though - but water up over the knee on second road and still heavy rains. Yuck

And for some reason or other Alf did NOT seem gutted - he seemed to be having fun both in PBG and FLB with his girlfriend and other friends as the news of the closing was posted. Good to see - Alf is a good guy - probably good for his liver though not being in TQ2 all the time ;-)

Just checked - my "sent mails box" DOES have a mail sent to the same address that has worked for me before.

Thanks guys - appreciated - he deserves a break - I will probably hear from him when he gets back :)

I tried contacting Mark to hear if he has a bike available and he has usually been fast at replying - but this time I have not heard a peep. Is he still in operation and I just have to be patient or should I look elsewhere ?

I am not a "professional complainer" - in fact I said the place was OK - what I does NOT like is getting one price while booking and NO mentioning of joiner fees on the homepage of a guesthouse in a known monger street that did not have a joiner fee previously. Then AFTER having prepaid my stay being informed about a joiner fee. I do not agree that there is no alternatives - I have stayed a couple of times at Top Mansion in the same street and while it IS lower standard than the Irish Clock it is adequate - clean and with good aircon /minibar /decent bathroom with hot and cold water and at about half the price of the Irish Clock.

When did Family Mart and 7-11 in Suvarnabhumi
Odense replied to Odense's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
I know I can still buy minutes in 7/11 and Family Mart in Pattaya - but I am not so sure in the shops I mentioned in the OP. -
Well - it was not mentioned on their homepage when I booked - they did not have the joiner fee before - no one mentioned it when I checked in and payed for my 5 day stay - but naturally I should have asked (but I also never ask when I check into Residence Garden and would be severely annoyed if I spotted any joiner fees). So I kind of had to pay if I brought back a guest. Next time I will however stay somewhere else.

You are right - but I will ask her for her recommendation
