Displayed prices are for multiple nights. Check the site for price per night. I see hostels starting at 200b/day and hotels from 500b/day on agoda.

Connection to a chat with Firefox
Odense replied to Odense's topic in Technical problems or questions.
Yes java is enabled - I think the error message would be different if it wasn't -
I was browsing the net and stumbled upon Asianbabecams I wanted to have a look and clicked on "free chat" My Firefox 1.5.0.9 browser comes up saying: "Error logging on: problem reading from server." I can log in with a Opera 9.01 8552 browser and with my IE 6.0.2900 browser. I have done this several times so it's not a one time occurrance. What is the problem and how can I fix it ? Regards Odense

DAYS IN THE LIFE OF A PATTAYA HOTEL OWNER
Odense replied to cookie's topic in Hotel and Accommodation Questions
As always an amusing and informative read - the efforts are appreciated -
Would appreciate the link when you get home - or if anyone else knows the site ?
-
They ARE more fun - unfortunately also a hell of a lot more dangerous (to the driver) than a car
-
Not really - as stated I am also using FF 1.5 - and I CAN see them - but wouldn't care if I couldn't
-
I am using Firefox 1.5.0.8 and I have the reputation marks. If you are using the version 2 it might be different. I have elected to wait with upgrading until they ironed out some "baby illnesses"
-
Yes please - and not the least bit upset
-
But what would the 645 thb/night be converted to if the hotelguest enjoyed to often entertain to or more female overnight guests ?
-
I'm pretty sure that if he used Norton Ghost or Acronis or similar to ghost the harddisk onto a new (bigger) HD and then reinstalled just Windows XP - all the programs would work. Seems easier to me than having to reinstall a lot of aps.
-
No noticable speed difference here either - and I like the new features
-
Thanks - appreciated

What ARE the rates ? It loooks very nice on the website (loads of places do - why else put it up) - but I can't find any rates on the site ?
-
I think the walk from Areca Lodge to walking street is AT LEAST as long as from RG - and I have tried both routes Having said that - I like the Soi Buakao area so I will probably stay there next time again
-
One night prepaid I can deal with - but NOT entire stay - once the money is in their hands your legitimate complaints carry a lot less weight IMHO. This also means they will not get CC details before I am there. But whatever works for you I agree that people with multiple bookings and other no shows with no cancellation are rude and deserves the bad karma they hopefully are experiencing
-
Cola - not that it matters much - but you will have to pay for that breakfast Always nice with a discount - but I'd probably pick the RG just the same

Very hot and hot For more in depth weather statistics there are a LOT of weather websites - I'm sure Google findfind you a few

I have booked such a trip (minibus from/to Pattaya and the bungalow for 2-3 nights) a couple of times before from Malibu or one the the countless representatives all over Pattaya. I do however find Malibu to be overpriced especially compared to what some of the guys on the board have found on Samet. So please let me hear suggestions for a decent bungalow on Samet with cold and hot water and aircon. Please include contact details if possible. Secondly I might be going to Samet from BKK. What is the best (easiest - most convienent - fastest - cheapest) way to go from BKK to Samet ? B

The Thai Archer (soi LK Metro) has free WiFi internet. Nice little hotel/guesthouse if you can do without a pool. Regards Odense
-
Decided to take the advice - have just booked the Sofitel - looking forward to staying there
-
Thanks for the suggestions guys - didn't decide just yet - but now I have some options
-
I do love Pattaya but also want to see other parts of Thailand - I have had limited success so far with tearing myself away from Pattaya I have however visited various parts of the country but never Isaan - I want to change that and think a few days in Khon Khean would be a nice start. So can anyone recommend a nice (not too fancy ) hotel in Khon Khean ?

VERY SAD NEWS - Om (cashier) Died Today
Odense replied to carlsberg's topic in General Discussion about Pattaya
Really really sad news. She was such a sweet young Lady. She even bothered to flirt jokingly with many of us guests - and I will miss seeing her at her place in the bar.
