Thanks Crackpot, for your kind words. Yes you are right about some of my posts, but of all the 30 odd posts i have placed some are actualy posted on topic, earlier today i posted about construction on soi 13, i think that has some kind of link with Pattaya ?, which after all is what this forum is all about. How many posts of yours have any link with Pattaya or Thailand ?.

Is this the new OT (kids) section ?, all the usual suspects seem to have posted replys, all we need is some words of wisdom from OMJ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Maybe not. With a bit of luck the playpen will return and you can all carry on the personal abuse and all the other rubbish there, i found some of the threads there very funny so hope PattayaPete will bring it back soon.

I stayed at the Dynasty inn in late Jan ( Great hotel ), there was no construction work going on, but the hole thats been dug is deep and i would guess any construction getting underway is going to be on a big scale and the Dynasty, Lek and Sandy springs may well be noisy places first thing in the morning for the next few months.

Hi Iam setting up my laptop computer to enable me to use my ISP via a thai servers local number, my question is which city does Pattaya come under (i thought it was a city in its own right ?), iam getting a list of about 50 Thai citys, anyone know which Pattaya comes under, im guessing Chon buri ? as the number starts with 38, there is also a Pattini which is the closest spelling but that starts with 73 ??. cheers Alf

Hey guys Post some Hotel reviews in between Drinks !, its high season, so should be plenty of you around, only 2 reviews since November as far as i can see !!, im due in late jan and although have Dynasty inn (only 1 review and im going from having stayed at the bangkok hotel a few times) confirmed want alternatives in case Bob the builder is hard at it next door or the place is a shit hole. Cmon just for a few sentances and give your opinion and info of your hotel. cheers Alf

Hi All I have reservation at Dynasty inn, Pattaya in 3 weeks time, they have asked if i want a Standard room (990 baht) or Superior (1200 baht), anyone know whats the difference ? for an extra 200 baht a night im tempted to go for superior if its a big difference, also any update on the building work next door, is it still an issue ?. cheers Alf

Advise from the frequent visitors please, having looked at the Hotel review site and seeing rates paid by members then checking out some of the Hotels rates via there Websites, some have quite large difference in price to what reviewers have paid ?, will i be better off not booking a hotel before i arrive, it looks like you get a much better deal coming off the street rather than booking in advance. Thanks in advance for any info
